Is there any way to turn off the underwater camera when your are reeling in your lure?
I think so, I never bothered to look in the settings for it. Its just a word of mouth Ive heard that you can turn it off. BUT its the only new feature the game has to offer. If you dont want underwater cam, get the pro edition. Atleast you can bottom fish in that title.
is there a first-person mode on this game and how is this game for beginners?
Hey, there is first person, you have to go to options to enable it if I remember correct. The game is good for beginners because it is very simple. You select a lure, go onto the map, cast and retrieve. Thats it. You dont have to worry about which lures work and which dont, you dont have to worry about spots, you dont have to worry about the fish fight mechanism (there is none, the fish are timed. Once you hook a fish, it will come to you in xx seconds).
