Thanks for featuring the Kintetsu Line and Osaka. My voice is announcing the English announcements on the Kintetsu Line, so it’s nice to see the Kintetsu Line getting more PR. The video was well done. And yes, the Hinotori is a great ride. It takes twice as long from Nagoya to Osaka, but it’s less crowded and way more comfortable than the Shinkansen! ❤
Oh! it is your voice I liseten to in Kintetsu railway! I always use the Kintetsu line when I go to Nagoya , Nara,Osaka-Nanba or Tsuruhashi. I live in Tsu City Mie prefecture Japan.
I know their are a few other channels that do solo travel in Japan, but you channel is definitely my favourite. I appreciate the editing you do and your bright personality you add to you videos 😊
I'm a fan of your channel since last month. Can't wait to visit Japan in November. Please do more trains videos like this! I would love to see your travelling video with Platt Kodama shinkansen 😆
Another great train ride. You are right to state that foreigners hardly travel using this train route but you take us with you through your lens. Thank you
Such beautiful trains and I would love to try the Bento you purchased. From the looks of the outside with the packaging, I thought it might end up being some fancy burger. Neat surprise that looked delicious!
Another great trip, for me the ride & the atmosphere is the best part of trip. I am so fascinated by all the different vending machines you have. America doesn't have anything to match, your machines are so clean & such great selections!
I look forward to your videos, they’re so informative. Japan sure has efficient public transportation that services millions of people and yet everything looks so clean, always punctual and great service! I admire your country.
ngl, if i have the chance i'll take the kodama shinkansen from tokyo to nagoya, then take hinotori nagoya to osaka namba. hinotori lmtd. exp. looks so exquisite! thank you for taking us with you on this amazing journey. great video as always!
Wonderful video! Just want to thank you for making good travel videos like this. As an international student who's currently living in Japan also, I'd like to travel too but I don't have that much free time to do that, so that brings me to here, traveling through your lens instead. I love the scenery on the way to Shiojiri, this trip is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks a lot for sharing!
It's not an unwillingness to take the long way around but it's knowing what's available and for that I thank you. I will certainly be enjoying this route the next time I'm in Japan. Keep up the good work your channel is very enjoyable. xx
7:38 What’s the wine like? One site says this: “Taking a sip, we were immediately taken aback by the intricate nuances of the wine. *It was like no other Japanese wine we’ve tasted,* showing a level of skill in its creation that far exceeds many other locally produced wines. The barrel-aged Shiojiri Station Merlot is a vibrant, dry-yet-fruity medium-bodied wine that displays silky tannins and flavours of *plum and raspberry that give way to deeper notes of cherry and blackcurrant.* This palate-pleasing combination of fruit flavours is beautifully rounded out with *creamy coconut* and *sweet vanilla* for a smooth, nuanced, medium-long finish.” [ *bold* in the original ] Not bad for a platform vineyard!
Beautiful landscapes. If you want to see rural Japan this way seems to be a good idea. You can travel on your own terms. The trains were all clean and quiet.
I really enjoy these videos showing train travel in Japan. I love the scenery, the vending machines and the different variety of foods. It's so interesting to see a different culture and country from my own. Will you be doing another hotel stay soon?
I agree with you although I wonder how stringent the hygiene laws are regarding vending machines? Japanese lifestyle and food is so different from the UK. I have learnt a lot from these videos. 😄
I can’t thank you more! ❤ I feel more confident in taking this route that I’ve been wanted! ❤ my family and another family are going to take your recommendation! 🥰 I’m travelling in Dec 2nd week and Mai know if you have anyy advice for me? Planning a ski trip at Kobe too.
I would love to go along on a trip to Kawazu with you, it looks like such a pretty place and such a cute little train over the bridge. Could you please visit it one day and have a little walk through the town? 😊. Enjoying your videos very much, thank you for your efforts.
Great Video. But is it cheaper than riding the Shinkansen? I would love to ride all of this if it is a little cheaper than riding the All-Stop Shinkansen.
The kintetsu from nagoya to osaka is cheaper than shinkansen for the same route. They did it for purpose because Kintetsu mainly cover countryside and their main revenue come from these express trains. So they try to make their trains as deluxe as possible to attract customers. They are the only "budget" express trains that serves drought beer with a drink bar. The observatory car is also magnificant. It's "budget" because it's cheaper than Shinkansen. Since the ride from Tokyo to Nagoya are same for both Shinkansen and the Chuo express trains, the total cost is still cheaper.
I really enjoyed this video. The trains look comfortable to move in and the food look good. Well except for one of the Year foods that looked like it was moving. Seriously it looks like it was alive. But I know it wasn't but still kind of freaked me out. But it looks good to eat. Can't wait for the next one
Nice video. A nice alternative to the most common route and method from Tokyo to Osaka. Is there by any chance you could do a series limited expresses using the traditional Tokaido line? When I was a kid (had lived in Japan then) our family used to take the limited express from Tokyo to Shizuoka, unfortunately the service is discontinued due to declining ridership
I thought something was alive on top of your udon. It looked like it was moving. I would like to take the long way. Nice looking at the countryside. And you were right, you won.
I didn't get to ride the Hinotori but I did make a day trip out from Osaka-Namba to Isuzugawa to go pay a visit to the shrine. The trip went by quickly entirely because I spent the whole time staring out the window! Too bad the return trip was after dark...
Oh yeah You’re correct: train has a touch of this And A little touch of that Someone did their homework TG just for the sake of your work and our viewing pleasure
The soba shop at Shiojiri has a very tiny door at the paid area. The space inside is only 70x150cm and can only fit one person inside. I hope that you didn't miss that.

Wow what a miracle.. I'm also familiar with your voice as I take Kintetsu trains a lot on my channel
Your voice will continue to be heard here😊
Nice to meet you Davina san (^^)/
The noodles looked amazing. Love these travel videos as I miss Japan.
Truly incredible. Motivated me to visit

Such beautiful trains and I would love to try the Bento you purchased. From the looks of the outside with the packaging, I thought it might end up being some fancy burger. Neat surprise that looked delicious!
Thank you for letting me get to know Japan through your videos. Greetings from Caracas Venezuela.

Really enjoy your videos and find them so interesting. Thank you.

I really want to go to Japan for a few weeks holiday , thansk for the vid

I want to ride a train cross country someday!
Also wanted to say that the seats on the last train look like pandas from behind.

yum the onion soup :D
11:28 what I found funny here is when a minion said bee do!
I laughed at the same part haha
Most hilarious part of Minions!

The soba shop at Shiojiri has a very tiny door at the paid area. The space inside is only 70x150cm and can only fit one person inside. I hope that you didn't miss that.
