De Centrumharmonie uit Geel koos voor Jungla, van de Spaanse componist Ferrer Ferran, als groot werk.
Het is een concert/wedstrijdwerk dat geschreven is voor groot harmonieorkest. Het laat alle facetten van het orkest horen met een speciale rol voor de slagwerkers.
Met dit werk wist de Centrumharmonie de jury op het WMC helemaal te bekoren. Ze werden hiervoor beloond met een 1ste plaats met 96% van de punten.

The Centrumharmonie from Geel chose Jungla, by the Spanish composer Ferrer Ferran, as its major work.
It is a concert/competition work written for large concert band. It shows all facets of the orchestra with a special role for the percussionists.
With this work, the Centrumharmonie completely captivated the jury at the WMC. They were rewarded for this with a 1st place with 96% of the points.
