1.5 years and it loses all of its refrigerant!? Holy crap dude! That needs a real repair in my opinion, 1 lb a year is the heaviest I've ever seen these fix, but at least it can slow the leak down and the uv will show where the leak is

With the dye not fully filled, did it also inject air into the system? Would that cause issues?

Did you have any problems using the Leak Shot tool? The reviews are all over the place.

Worked quite effortlessly for me. So far, my unit still works at full charge. I do not believe this is going to be a permanent fix and probably it will only help with very slow leaks, but it´s worth a try before investing the money needed to replace an evaporator o who know what other stuff where the leak might be at

Since I had a slow leak it will take months before I can tell if this thing worked. So far, my HVAC unit has held full charge since I applied it.

If you used it and did not work, that is a disappointment. Maybe your leak was more severe. Mine was a slow leak and so far the unit has not lost charge. We´ll see over the next few moths. As of today, July 22nd is still working at full charge... we´ll see...
