I got into a dynasty league this year on an orphaned team that was absolutely destroyed. It was already a bad roster, but I was naive and thought Id have picks to make my team better. I had 1 first rd pick, not even my own teams, and no other pick for 3 years. I went crazy trading the only good players I had and during the draft and drafted 17!! players! Including Odunze, Bowers, McConkey, Maye. And on top of that, I already have 2 of each 1sts, 2nds, 3rds, & 4ths next year. I obviously need the rookies to perform, but Im pretty proud of where I am now compared to where I started.
I need a video that talks about who to pick up now that I’m out of the playoffs. Wanting to get a jump on the wire before the other savvy teams do. Thanks fellas!
Something some people should probably consider is the rise and fall of player value. It is really unlikely that (for example) Mike Evans or Davante Adams will increase in value after this year. However acquiring someone who can both help you now, and stands to gain value is a great way to spend your draft resources, especially if you're getting fair value on the trade itself. For example, I already have Nico Collins in all leagues except for 1, but if I didn't have him, I'm going to look at his value, and try to match it with fair market on a trade. If the person accepts and Nico smashes, then I've taken my draft capital and increased its worth. Nico is my example because I have a strong conviction that he will be a top 5-7 guy by the end of the season. Whoever YOUR Nico is, you should invest picks into him. Picks do rise and fall in value, but not nearly so dynamically as players do. If you don't have conviction for any players at all, then keep your picks, they will be worth more in 9 months. Some people play dynasty and never do anything because they don't watch players, and get that itch that THEIR GUY is going to blow up. So many people I play with o ly really think about ADP/Rankings and KTC value, and they never win the ship because they never go out and get the guy they think will skyrocket. Some people were probably super high on Pacceco last year and they went out and got him for much less than he is now. Others probably did the same with Nico, or Reed, or Rice. My guys were Nico and Achane, and I'm printing money right now. Have conviction and get your guys. They're worth your picks.

Kind of rambling but the point is solid. Trading your 2027 1st and 2026 2nd for DJ Moore with that current roster is so dumb. He should be breaking that team down for a rebuild and trying everything possible to get his picks back. His team isn’t good by any means.

Recently, got some trade offers for depth pieces that outperformed and replenished all my picks+an additional second for good waiver wire picks
Cleansing your roster to make room for picks and at the same time upgrade your picks can be a good roster constuction move in a deep draft class, but is it a good to move from a late 3rd to an early 3rd if it's a thin draft? Doesn't a thin draft make it more difficult to hit on later picks? I think the biggest problem with most dynasty players is truly understanding a draft class to know when to obtain the picks and when to trade them. If it's a thin class a good move may be to try and package players and picks to obtain young talent that is already in the NFL.

Its not bad if those firsts are top 3. You will probably never find a better situation than Amon Ra. You hit the lottery if you have him. Garrett wilson is insane talent but who knows if he will ever be on a team that gives him #1 fantasy receiver points. I have Wilson shares and really hope he blows up this year.

That was a great trade. Always better to get a free year of value for your players to develop. And, the talent in the 2024 draft was the best we've seen considering how many of the first picks were offensive players.

If you could land a younger WR with WR 3/4 value I’d do that deal. If you could switch Keenan for a guy like Josh Palmer, Rashid Shaheed, or someone along those lines of starting as a slot or WR 2 is do it. Kupp and Waddle as your two best wr doesn’t sound comp and I’d just get the rebuild started tbh The fastest way to it is through sometimes you have to embrace the rebuild. This year I landed Marv, Nabers, Nix, McConkey, AD Mitchell, Josh Palmer, and received Achane as well all by trading Lamb and Chase away because my qbs were Watson and Arod. My QBs are now Levis Baker and Nix. Yea I had the best WR but once my qbs got hurt my season was done and I realized man my qbs are only gonna lose value so I decided to blow it up and embrace a rebuild. And I completed that rebuild in one offseason just gotta make the right moves at the right time man
Also just because I rebuilt my team doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a contender rather the foundation is set because of the value of the picks I got and the youth. For example. Lets say Malik has a good-great season once the Giants land a highly drafted qb or a Dak Prescott in free agency. Dak has proven to sustain a wr 1 so Nabers value will only increase so then I can choose to sell at his peak and bring in even more assets to round out my roster because with a player like Nabers you will always be able to sell based off potential same with Marv and players in that elite tier of prospects with the high draft capital.
I mean Tyreek has very few good years left on him so if you think you are a big contender than keep him as he’s better than Nico but if you don’t think you’ll win, it’s worth it to negotiate as Nico should be good for many years in the future
I don't think I would even roster Bateman anymore - and I'm a Minnesotan and love the Gophers. If Robinson is truly your RB 5 it seems fairly even. If it is full ppr it's worth doing. Don't be surprised if Robinson blows up this year tho, either.

Now I have Mahomes J Williams Zeke Chase Wilson J Ferguson Nabers Dell Burrow SF Notable bench pieces Chase brown Trey benson Metcalf Wandale Robinson Hockenson Possible rookie impacts Jermaine burton Luke McCaffery Jordan Whittington I’m not saying I’m going to win my championship, but my roster is overall pretty young, and has an elite core of players who will be good for a while. I think if you take 3 of of the 5 best players off each roster you’d have a hard time finding one to compete. For the most part you are correct, but there are still exceptions and at some point you have to push your Chips into the middle.
@@dynastydrizzy could be early cause the guy who I got it off of has an average age of probably around 28 with a draft picks situation as terrible as mine. If people overpay it could probably get to probably the 8th pick if I had to guess, but it all depends on what he does. I don’t care about if it’s early or not, it’s a first and I believe I have the best roster in the league at the moment.
To me Hall is CLEARLY the best singular asset in this scenario but if you don't think the discrepancy between he and Achane is that significant then make the trade. For me Hall is a clear cut, no doubt rb1 just now ascending. I don't think Achane is a rb1 because of his size and usage limitations, and injury ( soft tissue-types ) concerns.

I’m not saying I’m going to win my championship, but my roster is overall pretty young, and has an elite core of players who will be good for a while.
I think if you take 3 of of the 5 best players off each roster you’d have a hard time finding one to compete. For the most part you are correct, but there are still exceptions and at some point you have to push your Chips into the middle.
I am also currently trying to move dk metcalf for either Jonathon Taylor or Saquon Barkley, in the middle of negotiations for one of them.

@@dynastydrizzy could be early cause the guy who I got it off of has an average age of probably around 28 with a draft picks situation as terrible as mine. If people overpay it could probably get to probably the 8th pick if I had to guess, but it all depends on what he does. I don’t care about if it’s early or not, it’s a first and I believe I have the best roster in the league at the moment.

To me Hall is CLEARLY the best singular asset in this scenario but if you don't think the discrepancy between he and Achane is that significant then make the trade.
For me Hall is a clear cut, no doubt rb1 just now ascending. I don't think Achane is a rb1 because of his size and usage limitations, and injury ( soft tissue-types ) concerns.
