One of the best videos i have seen about a very long term project and the mental battle. My favourite part was when you showed the voices in your head. I have never seen this in any video before and it was really eyeopening. Crazy how much our brain can stop us from concentrating on what really matters. I have the same doubts and voices when trying to send something hard and I am close. The biggest power a climber can have is to be able to switch off and just exicute. Congratulation on this epic journey, well deserved victory.
The mind can be our biggest asset or a huge liability haha. It’s incredibly hard when it runs away from you. But that’s the endless journey of climbing and life 😀. Very fulfilling. I’m psyched to hear you liked it. Thank you
Totally agree I absolutely love d that part. One of the best representations I've seen of everything flying through your brain when you're fully consumed by a project
I love your authenticity, honesty, humor and YOUR knowledge and wisdom. So good to see that you were ultimately successful in your process - Congratulations on all the experiences and completing a long-term goal!
@@TomOHalloranAus I completely believe you, your body and your eyes also told a story 😉🤪 All the best when processing it, it feels like a bigger success than it looks! 👏💪
Congrats on the send! So so so good. Love your channel and how genuine it is. Makes me reminisce about my time climbing in Australia. I've never even posted a comment on RUclips but wanted to express my support! 🎉
Wow, thank you so much. That’s very kind. An honor to be your first comment haha. Thanks for being here on the journey 😀✌️. Keen to keep sharing the climbing down under
Congrats Tom, absolutely incredible send. The rawness and authenticity that you give us around your experiences, the highs and lows, the tides of stoke going in and out is really something special. Thanks for sharing, and I can't wait to see what you get up to next!
I will admit, I strive to have that growth in my climbing where I can go from screaming and angry at myself to happy that I am doing what I am doing. My project at what feels like my physical limit is playing mind games with me as well. Here is to an never ending battle of the mind where joy and peace is the real victory. Wonderful climb, even better insight and growth! Thanks Tom!
Ahh, I am so happy for you Tom, that happy child energy that you put in climbing is truly amazing, it is a reminder to not bang your head against the wall so much and just get out there and have fun and get freacking stoked one move at a time. I teared up a little haha
Ahh thank you. I really appreciate that. Had a few folks message about tears, you’re not alone. I’m psyched the journey connected with you 😀. Thank you
I dont know you Tom, but every time i listen to you, i think that you're a beautiful human being and you inspire me to be strong and also kind and open. Thank you:)

YEW saved this to watch on my night shift to psyche me up and got so much more out of it. Thanks for sharing the mental battles that come with an insane project like this. EPIC!!!
Tom, the sheer amount of dedication you had to send this is incredible. This video tells the story immaculately and really demonstrates the push and pull of the journey. Thanks for the psych!

@TomOHalloranAus the number of times ive dragged my tired old ass to the proj when i had no skin and felt week but miraculously reached a high point, surprises me every time haha

Thanks for sharing this process mate! It's important that pro climbers show up and make an honest window of what it takes to really climb(or anything else) hard and with all your heart. Congrats!
