I use the 'hose reel' to wind up the long cord. I then use the side hook for the hose. It works way better that way. To wind the cord, first place the plug on the reel. Next wind the cord until done.
Quick hack for hose coiling. Just bought one yesterday. Stretch the hose out straight in the sun. Put a brick on each end. Once it heats up a little ur coiling problem is gone. Might have to do this everytime, but I'll probably upgrade to better hose and quick connects anyway.
I bought this one. My first electric pressure washer so I can't really compare it to anything. It works as expected. Obviously not as powerful as a gas one. I was able to clean my cement sidewalks, my brick patio, my deck, and the roof of my polebarn. Did everything I needed it to do, and I didnt have to wear earing protection! I didnt have problems with the hose real like you did. I also might upgrade the hose because it is super cheap.
I just bought this product yesterday. It was an open box and in brand new condition and an employee put the wrong price sticker and I scored it for 12.99 plus tax lol
Don't have to worry too much about that hose. It straightens out real easy and becomes easily managable if you do what I do. I run the hot water tap to it. Couple minutes of use and that line is a noodle. Still will kink over initially and does tend to cool down fairly quick. Those quick couplers you recomended are worth using your link for. They work very well. The Foam cannon I haven't purchased yet as I tend to have a hose end Dial sprayer that I have Simple Green in. Little caustic for car use BUT that Mean Green they sale at HF is an Alkaloid cleaner too. Don't want to leave that on bare metal too long. Does wonders to soften chicken poop. We have little ones so the HW tank is set to non-scalding temperatures. IS there a flexable, after market hose without these problems that these cheap sprayers use? Might be worth the upgrade. And don't worry, I just looped it around the handle in coils that don't touch the ground. 15 minutes after using it, in the 50 degrees round here, the hose is a hoola hoop again!
Got the Greenworks washer as it went on sale as you suggested. Also picked up those quick disconnects after using it one time. The hose is nice, but it still will kink up during putaway and didn't want to wrestle the wand.

Hey Aaron, just wanted to thank you for sharing your knowledge. I work for a manufacturing company and was tasked with purchasing one of these - something I know nothing about btw. Anyway, funny story, someone recommended the Harbor and a trusted resource of MINE said don’t get that one get the 2000PSI Bauer (which I did) but then after I purchased it I did some digging and came across your video. I feel better about the choice I made for work lol 😅
That being said.. I def. Think if the Bauer doesn’t work out too long.. I’ll look for that one from Lowes lol.. at the end of the day I had choice A or B and probably took the lesser of the 2 evils for now😌
Just got a coupon in my email with this for 159.00. Thinking I can use the 20% off coupon on top. Could make it around $130. Appreciate the review. Exactly what I was looking to find out.
Not sure about the 20% coupon, now that Harbor Freight has been "getting fancy", they've started excluding many of the newer brands. Take a look at the fine print at the bottom.
Any idea why the plug would keep tripping? Worked great for 3hrs, took a break, then it stopped working when I restarted…kept tripping in the plug of the power sprayer….
I bought a green works 2000psi and it keeps on stalling(or tripping) and I am not able to use it for more than 10-15 seconds at a time between the trigger pulls.
@@aaronstestlab next question which should’ve been asked in the greenworks video. Is the soap dispenser operation the same as Bauer? Sorry 🤦🏾♂️just gotta know.
Aaron, I could not answer your e-mail as a reply to youtube. My unit was purchased before the 3 year warranty kicked in and only provided a 1 year at that time. As I stated it was used very little before it fell apart. China products should not be sold in our country. Even with the 3 year warranty, I would not want to keep taking their products back or trying to get them to honor a warranty repeatedly. If I buy a product I want it to last. Herman
I go over how to deal with that issue in the video linked below. Different model but same principle applies. Craftsman 1900PSI: ruclips.net/video/GXMrrhpDPho/видео.html
alot of good info in this video. thank you! the lowes comparison is interesting, i have used this unit. . if you are using it once or a few times within 90 days then dont get the warranty because it comes with 90 day warranty that covers most but not all of what the 1 or 2 year warranties come with. hours of use on them, it could be that operator error plays a big role in malfunction.
Having trouble with the red and green nozzle after I tried using the black soap dispenser nozzle. They just completely stopped working, does anyone know anything about this? I ended up trying the white tip and thank God it worked..but now idk what's going on with the other two..
@@aaronstestlab oh is that why it came with a little nozzle cleaning 🪡 needle ? I guess I'll try using that. The thing is the soap that I used for the tank doesn't even fully drain when I also tried using the black tip. It just shoots out weak soap like it's almost embarrassing lol
Just like the Greenworks sprayer, the pump is the same. The water inlet and outlet piping are held in place by a U clip. Please observe the very weak area around that U clip. The cast aluminum will snap at that point very easily and there is no way to fix it other than buying a replacement pump and good luck getting it off. I bought my Greenworks at Lowes with a 1 year warrentee so by the time it broke I could not take it back. I used it infrequently. More China crap. Pat R
Two factors are making me not purchase. The useless hose reel with the cheap hose and the short warranty. I looked at this model yesterday at the store and almost got one only because at $185.00 it seemed like a great bargain but the hose would drive me nuts.

They must have saw your video because the one I have automatically turns off once the water stops flowing. Props to you for making a difference

Aaron, thanks for the Amazon link for the Quick disconnect kit, it works excellent on my Bauer Pressure washer!

Got it worked good one use then detergent tank pressurizes even with no detergent and blows the top cannot figure out what is going on
Nice job. Does your pressure go up and then down and up and back down when using the red nozzle?
It does not

The Bauer unit is alright, but IMO a little overpriced. For about the same money, I think the Greenworks GPW2006 is the nicer unit.

I do have a question before I pass on another electric pressure washer. Does the soap dispenser automatically stay on?
Yes, but it’s only active when using the low pressure tip
@@aaronstestlab next question which should’ve been asked in the greenworks video. Is the soap dispenser operation the same as Bauer? Sorry 🤦🏾♂️just gotta know.
You didn't show how to screw in the base end of the hose at the machine end. I can't get it attached.
I found a small metal round pin clip in the bag what is this for?
Cleaning the tip if it gets clogged

When did people start using pressure washers to remove weeds?
I'm a trendsetter
Why did you skip over the soap dispensing feature? Im having issues finding how to NOT have it spray soap once soap is in the dispenser

Can you put a new hose on this pressure washer??? Was looking at a kobrajet hose
Not sure about that specific hose, but as long as it has industry-standard M22-14 fittings you should be good to go.
Does 1.3 vs 1.2 psi make a difference?
I assume you mean GPM, and no, not in my opinion.
@@aaronstestlab Thanks

Sure that's not a 3 year warranty? Greenworks has been providing those for a while now.
Failed completely twice on me. First time I had the 1 year 1 time only protection plan.
He said, "Penetrate the rear hole". Hehe.
I would rather get the ryobi 2000 because it has an induction motor
I got the ryobi 2000, was not impressed. 4" wheels, no cord or hose storage, handle flimsy. Returned and got this Bauer 2000 which is much better.
I get a 1 or 2 year warranty through harbor freight

Test the Stihl RE 90
Never heard of it but just looked up the specs. Seems like a pretty basic machine that's upcharging for the name.
@@aaronstestlab Well review it. Apparently the vast majority of the chinesium units lie about their output. I wonder if this one might be pretty good.
Greenworks is about $75 more expensive
Can it remove bird poop🤣 hell a Garden hose can do that!!!
Not the loads the garbage-eating crows around here drop. I swear that stuff has glue in it.
Why my pressure washer keep going on and off
Because you keep pulling the trigger
Common issue.
