This is not dub, its slowed down TECHNO. Dub ist stuff like Roots Radics in a Tubby Mix, not this soulless EDM BULLSHIT.

@@wilddaggaselecta No it's not. Stepper is stuff like Aggrovators. What you make is HARDCORE TECHNO. Seriously, i have nothing against digital dub either. Listen to stuff like Jah Shaka or Wackies. It might have a steppers rhythm or it might be made with electronic equipment but it has also a roots sound. It has thy typical basslines, percussions, maybe some organs, melodica or horns etc. Your music has nothing of this - just a lot of synth sounds and asian sounding samples combined with techno style drum machine beats. Whats even more important is that your music is not MIXED like dub. Where are the high pass filters with spring verbs, the tape delays and phasers? And on top of all that is is WAY TOO FAST. I know steppers dub/reggae but your stuff has 145 bpm! Dude, just name ONE thing that your music has in common with real dub!
Sorry but your music has absolutely nothing in common with reggae or dub or steppers rhythms. I bet my ass that you are from France because nobody outside France would call stuff like this dub stepper. I don't know what went so terribly wrong in the french soundsystem scene but its emberassing.

You seem to not understand that the music evolves and that the stepper does not stop at the borders of UK/Jamaica.
France is not the only country to call it "Stepper" lmao. look at Mexico, South America countries, Japan, Italy, ...The whole world produces this "Hardtechno" as you say ... But hey as Franck Zappa said: "A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it is not open."

The exact category you want to pigeon hole any kind of music is irrelevant. Either you like it or you don't - bottom line. I like it as a listener of Dub since the 70s. It is harder now to label music with all the cross fertilizing influences.
