Wow! This brings back memories! Had a lot of fun in our pop-up’s back in the 70’s and 80’s!

You aren't really buying a camper. You're buying a memory maker.

The imagination to make a full sized camper out of a small trailer has no limit. Love this offroad system. So simple and satisfying to be able to live outside.

And it can sleep an amazing number of people in something that travels down the road so compactly.

We owned one from 2007 to 2015/17? Took our grandson out with us. So much fun, great memories. Easy to set up etc.our 2nd tent trailer as we had one with our son.

Came upon this by chance. We had Jayco in the 80s. Bought it second hand for £500 - It had been well used😂 On one occasion remember looking through my car mirror to see a wheel bouncing down the M11 motorway whilst driving down to London England. I spent two days trying to find HT bolts imperial had - to make do with ordinary bolts. Fortunately my Wife's cousin was coming to visit us in England the following month from Tiffin Ohio - she picked up the correct bolts from the factory which she drove past each week and we were roadworthy again. Happy days 😂😂

Once you get the Hang of Everything, it only takes 10 mins. or so to have Full setup as I have done this in the Rain, just remember if it is raining when you take it down---always open back up when you get home if it is Dry Outside so Canvas can Dry Out and not Mildew...Very Important...

Just Remember to Keep Pulleys Sprayed down with WD 40 before use, it will add life to whole Pulley/Cable System--inspection doors are usually inside...

So glad I saw how it is being set up…. Not for me. Had a tent for many year and now a small camper, livable, as soon as we arrive.

Each time of living arrangement has pros and cons. Glad to help make you more secure in your decision to not have this type of recreational vehicle!

It helps to PUT SUMTHIG solid UNDER your jacking POINTS! Otherwise YOU'LL BE sinking into the GRASS?.

Excellent point about the stabilizer jacks in the back and we would certainly have done that if we were planning to leave the camper open. Because we were literally just opening it and closing it back up we didn't bother, but for anyone doing real camping... good advice.

Not familiar with that one, but I'm not surprised by what you say. It's incredible how little some of the design elements on these have changed over time. Main thing you really notice is just how square the body panels are. They have added a few curves over the years.

typisches amerikanisches Gelump.

Vans are great for some people. Class-A motorhomes are great for others. Some like pull-behind travel trailers, and for others, a popup camper like this one is the ideal solution. It's nice to have options on what you want have!

It looks way complicated for a setup. It would help alot if the wife would pitch in to help him insteadof just looking. Thats not one person camper setup
