I have tremendous respect for what you've done here, being up front and honest about the burnout many of us feel in our Practice and Craft. It is important that people hear that we all struggle from time to time. I hope you find the joy again.

Thank you!! It’s slowly coming back but I’m choosing not to force anything and let it unfold organically. Glad the video resonated with you!

I love the Tarot de Carlotydes! Lots of references to Mid=Sommer.
Harvest Home by Thomas Tryon, back in the 1970's started my love of folk horror and The Wickerman, 1970's also, with Christopher Lee and Ed Woodward, took that love even further. Mid=Sommer was great too!! Love me some good folk horror!

Also a huge fan of folk horror! And really appreciate the wickerman and pagan references in this deck!

This year has also been a large pull back from tarot for me too

I’m impatiently waiting if there’s another edition of stunning tarot or Jonasa Jaus Tarot. The cheapest I’ve seen it is still over two times the retail and that’s just the very latest editions. Majestic Earth Tarot is definitely a unicorn deck for me but the prices are just mind boggling. I’m planning a trip to Salem soon, my first one, can’t wait!
I love the decks you used to help get through the dreaded burnout. Seasons of the Witch decks always are a solid feel good choice. I love the antique anatomy guidebook (and deck.) I’ll be honest, I think due to deck overwhelm when I first purchased and flipped through the deck, I didn’t quite feel a strong connection initially but then as time went on and I started working with & reading the guidebook, I absolutely love that deck now and the connection is strong, lol.
I think burnout is a pretty normal feeling especially when doing something for a good bit of time. Our brains are wired to crave more and I’m glad more and more people are discussing tarot burnout because it shouldn’t be this hidden away little secret. I think because of the nature of tarot/divination, especially as a profession, it’s almost a bit of a taboo subject to ever say one’s feeling burnout, but there’s nothing wrong with it.
Anywho, I’ll stop my novella long comment here, 😆. Love your videos!
