“Dove” - Oil painting tutorial for Peace Day

- In this video I will walk you through the steps of painting “freedom of a Dove” with oil paints to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - International Day of Peace 2018.
I am working on a 12*16 canvas panel with oil paints (only using OMS for thinning paint a bit - no other mediums) that I am repurposing from a previous painting!! I used a bit of glazing technique for the painting…. had to let the first layer dry overnight before glazing…. Overall a 2 day process.

Paintbrushes -synthetic hog hair brushes, filbert, flat, round and detail and mop brush for blending

Painting With Yovette thank you 😊 oil painting is probably the oldest form of painting and still revered and loved- and for good reason. I love oils too
