Something I love about Pentumbra is how it doesn't start singing until after the first few bars are finished, because it mimics other sounds. It can't start until someone else does so that it can try and copy their sounds. That's brilliant if intentional

X'rt is Wheezel 2.0, in that it's a really awesome design with a gross bass-y mouth sound that surprisingly compliments the song really well, but doesn't play half as much as it should.

I really love how they’re actually utilizing the quads in this island and not letting them go to waste. Whaill has its own verse (maybe getting a new one for wave 5 or 6), vhenshun pretty much plays throughout the whole song and now Pentumbra helps compliment yooreek, vhenshun, and has its own little part where it imitated jeeode outside the workshop

Ethereal workshop is about the reclamation of one's curiosity, trying desperately to feel how you felt as a kid , and noticing how screwed uo reality is on the way, and then looking upon this and confiding in it

What I like about Pentumbra is that it copies monsters and identifies how the song goes before harmonizing with them. Like how his idle looks like he is trying to think about how to get in the song, and copy Yoreek, he also plays AFTER Vhenshun and Auglur, almost like he's trying to listen to their melody and rhythm before he starts singing.
I don't play MSM anymore (still hang out in the fandom a lot though), but this'll definitely be one of my favorite islands when it's fully finished. It's definitely going up there with Wublin Island just because of how unique the creatures are

I like to think that when it comes to X’rt and Pentumba’s relationship, it’s the exact opposite of how it looks and X’rt is actually the brains of their relationship. and also I just really like them as a duo for some reason
I feel like this was one of the best ethereal workshop updates, I really love how creative they made X’rt and I don’t like how he is hated. X’rt is personally one of my favorite Ethereals.

Not really. Pentumbra is mid. It ties the song together just like Vhenshun but the song was already one of the worst songs in the original game.
