I bought "Diamond Life" on cassette when it came out. I was working on cruiseships at the time. One of the best albums ever.
Sometimes someone comes along and there is only one word to describe this person and her mannerisms, music, personality, the way she carries herself when she walks down the street. The word is beautiful and it just oozes out of her. She's a class act in every way.

This sade gig is from 1984 live at the Hammersmith Odeon.
I was at this Sade Concert at the Hammersmith Odeon London July 84 with my brother Phill and EX Girlfriend's. Nice one from South London.
A nice place Hammersmith Odeon. Lived in Hammersmith London on vacation with my late parents. So wish I could have met her at the juice lorry in the day
In tribute to the immense joy and satisfaction SADE my love has brought to this worldfor over30 years shouldn't we build a lovely statue of her in London or Paris, etc. That's the least one can do for her NOW and not years later. No chance of anyone coming close to her in the manner she has enchanted us all. May she live for another 50 years.

No she doesn’t. Her voice beautiful, timeless an understatement. It matters not, in a dress/ gown/suit, heels or not, i focus on her singing. I rarely comment on an artist’s appearance, this one is an exception-hair up or down, what a gorgeous woman. Enough said about that. She stands by band mates.

the first album (vinyl) i bought from them (let's not forget that Sade isn't only her nickname but also the name of the band) it was "Stronger Than Pride" it came out a few weeks after i bought it..never saw a video form them at that time but i listened a lot "Is it a crime" and "Hang on to your love" on the radio...when i saw the cover of the album (it's just her face) i fell in love..when i listened to the whole album i got completely in love and when i saw their videos i was lost..agree with all the comments..for me beyond the beauty is the elegance and the low profile she keeps after all these years...but also is THAT band that knew perfectly how to surround and dress that fantastic voice..she don't need to do acrobatics in the vocals..she put her graspy low tone along with those wonderful musicians and those bittersweet songs ...the resut is everything we love and praise about their music..cheers to everyone..enjoy, take care and i recommend their 1993 "Sade Live" video concert..is a must of...

Please compare band older and more recent concerts. Especially when you compare Sade Adu performing in the latter ít is unbelievable how well she has matured. Don't get me wrong. In this concert in London she is already a star but when looking at the latter concerts she is on totally different level. Mature, self-confident, sensual... please continue.
I'm Bipolar and listened to Sade in early 80's.She aided and helped me with her lyrics and Soulful endeavors throughout so many Mental Health hospitals and wards through the years.Just to listen and connect so clearly and abhorantly to your soul that she kept me alive longer and continually through those "Mental Years."It feels as if I've found my Soul Mate,please.
