It’s easier if you think this way. 16” is for - PC user who already got used to 2kg Laptop - already have 13” macbook 14” - for who never had macbook before or had 5 years old macbook and need new one. - PC user who want to go *light* For me 16” is for me because i go test at the store and nothing can change my mind. It’s not that heavy, honestly for me Edit : im 5’5 asian male 50kg weight whp doesn’t type while walking
It's quite funny when you say that the 16-inch MacBook is large and heavy. It's the same size as the previous 15-inch MacBook (2020 and earlier), with no difference in size. As for the weight, I'm glad it's not made of creaky plastic.
I ordered the 16" M1 Pro MacBook Pro and I've been loving it so far. I must admit my old 13" MacBook Pro was better for studying, because of its smaller size. But whenever I do video editing, photo editing or webdesign, it feels like pure luxury (and productivity) to have such a big screen. Though I miss the idea of having a super-portable machine (it's still portable, but less unobtrusive). I bought the 16" while keeping in mind I might buy an iPad (Pro) with the extra money I could earn when working faster on a 16" screen.
So basically I’m going to clg this year …..I want a MacBook cause my legs are already in apple ecosystem I’ll probably get in next month…I’m a part time music producer and do other creative works….I’m confused b/w 16 inch with 512gb or 14 inch with 1tb …. Ik 1tb is a good enough reason to switch but that extra screen real estate will be of gr8 in those messy Logic Pro sessions it has gr8 speakers (although I have studio speakers but It will take time to get fully set up in clg ) also it has fairly better battery life also what will be your opinion in my situation ( I can cope up with storage situation by buying a SSD)
MacBook Air M1 8GB/256GB is more than enough for students. It’s now available for $849 or $899 I am a photographer / videographer and I am editing 70-80GB photos using Lightroom with the M1 Air. It gets the work done well enough and fast.

Great video! As a student I went for the 14" and think its a better option for most students. Love the sweater though, where is it from?
Yeah I agree 14 inch is perfect! Thanks man, It’s from my school in Canada, the university of Waterloo :)
These are currently on sale $400 off at Best Buy for anyone looking! $200 cheaper than Apple Education, basically pays for AppleCare.
Definitely check this out!!!

Couldn't agree more!!! 👊
I just kept my Macbook Pro 13” since it’s from 2017 and not that valuable.
@@tomatochemist Nice! My old 13” is too broken to be usable…
Great comparison and advice. Btw, I am curious to know which m1pro 16 inch you got for yourself
I got the m1 max for myself but it’s definitely overkill

Hey, u can always get external storage to use but u can’t always increase the screen size. I would opt for the larger screen!

I love Apple. I dont use laptops though. I’m more of a desktop guy.
Apple has some great desktop options like the Mac Mini! But ofc whatever works for you 💯
Nice 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video Athar!
@0:22 offended me personally as a loyal Mikey fan. I would like a public apology video.
Cheers.
