Maternity-Leave March!
Who would have thought that with so much time on my hands before baby arrives I would get so little done in the garden! March has been a wonderful month for harvesting and enjoying the time and effort we had previously put into the garden at the start of the season, now the countdown is on until baby arrives, so we'll see what gets done in the next few days, weeks and months as my pace of life changes again!

really nice trick with the beans ..great video.
G'day Ruth, that's cool about the scarlet runner beans. Can't wait until it cools down to start planting again and grow lots of spinach and chard. God bless you guys. 🦘👍
So inspiring
Awesome 🥰 I can't wait to Grow spinach again🌻
Thank you for sharing. Always enjoy your positive energy.
Thanks!! Now my goal is to keep up the positive energy on little sleep!
So close to 1K. ✌️
I’ll get there one day!! But with bubs we’ll see how many videos keep coming out :p
Lovely to see a garden that is heading into winter (as is mine) rather that all the northern hemisphere gardens heading into spring. I'll be interested to see if your kale seedlings grow true to the parent plant. My brassicas cross pollinate and I end up with odd plants that are just rather boring rather than the specially good purple sprouting brocolli I was hoping for - for example. And you still have some tomatoes - lovely.
Thanks! I’ve only once had weird brassicas from cross pollination, otherwise a pretty good strike rate!
I always try to grow spinach in the summer, even though they don't like it! Good luck with the birth!
Have you tried Okinawa Spinach it should grow well during summer it does here
I have and it’s been growing for 2 years and think it has about 3 leaves on it :p I grew it from a cutting from my aunts garden, but it just hasn’t taken off
@@grow.nurture.nourish hmmm interesting 🤷♀️
What sort of Berries do you up in Christchurch and do they fare..??
I only grow blueberries, strawberries and boysenberries - but have neighbours and friends who grow raspberries, black berries, loganberries... so pretty much any berry you can think of :)
