Actor versatility has always fascinated me. Alisha Weir was amazing & adorable in Matilda the Musical. Going from that to a monster in _Abigail,_ again, fascinating.
I think they could have marketed the film as a kidnapping and then something mysterious picks off the kidnappers one by one, they didnt really need to state she's a vampire. Also im so annoyed they spoiled a certain character being turned in the trailer.
Yeah, I saw that too. I try to never put any spoilers in my trailers, that's one of the things a trailer shouldn't do.
I'm going to buy this movie when it comes out an cut my own trailer, just to see if it works.
@@MayhemMendes Do you remember how the trailers for orphan had the tagline "there's something wrong with Esther" without revealing the twist. I feel like that would be a good marketing strategy for Abigail
@@Anthonydbrown13 I dunno, then you'd still expect something off about the little girl. I would edit a trailer where it seems like they're either in a haunted house, or the group is trying to protect her from something. After seeing the movie on Monday, I think I can cut a compelling trailer when it comes out on Bluray.
I love this movie it was fantastic the acting was really good hilarious at the same time and cute in the end
I thought it was a remake of “Livid”….
It's not. This is from the wikipedia page of the movie: "Based on and a reimagining of the 1936 Universal Classic Monsters film Dracula's Daughter"
@@patrickw8574 Actually right now there is a secret organization desperately trying to prevent the old gods from rising and consuming us all by providing them with entertaining sacrifices.
Dracula's Daughter? You mean Lesbian Subtext: The Movie. I hope that's not what they took from it.
Not based on, very loosely based on. Emphasis on “very loosely”
I seen it and it’s so fun, I absolutely love it🧛♀️🩰🩸🩸
