I watched this last year, and it was actually really funny. For about the first thirty minutes, I nearly died from boredom but after the spirit came in, it was actually hilarious
Spirit of Halloween definitely has some potential for a movie/tv show it's just that they went at it the wrong way because there's already stories on the back of the animatronic boxes they can make a show where it follows the stories in every episode or make a movie like trick or treat where it's multiple stories but they all connect.
My friend and I barely made it half way through the movie before we took a recovery break and found something much better to watch. Literally half of it was the kids arguing about how they can’t go trick or treating because they’re growing chest hair, but they do this every year.
“I’m sorry your dad died of bone cancer 🥺” when ya gotta add some quick sympathy for the main character.. 😀
