      @mgw2745 if you know anything about current trading rules Kuminga can't be traded even to bring a Denis Schroder player unless you combine Kuminga and Andrew Wiggins or Draymond green to bring a star that could make a difference.
      Why lose both Wiggins and Kuminga while bringing 1 guy who could not make a winning difference. This is what Wteph and Draymond literally said without saying

      @mgw2745 you still don't understand. Next season it a decision that they have to match what other teams are willing to pay him or let him walk for free.
      Trading him now, it's not worth a thing because he makes only $7mil unless traded him with Dray or wiggins or 6 other players of the bench just to match the salary.
      It's not worth it. They should've traded him before the season start in August- October 2024 or give him a contract.
      We have a useless management team that always makes decisions late. They let walk Cp3 for free when we could've gotten Zack Lavigne, and they declined the call from Bulls.
      So it's more complex than people who don't understand hinks that's why nothing is happening

    • @mgw2745
      @mgw2745 3 дня назад +1

      @@KingOnema The rule is very simple and everyone knows it while you think complicated 😂. Just let him walk free if you can get a better contract so Warriors can free up capital room to sign other players who will be more helpful.

    Are you guys hiring? I would think the flagship would understand next year Kuminga is a restricted free agent meaning the W’s could match any offer he could get. 1 team the Brooklyn Nets will have 49 million to offer him. Only team with significant cap space. Do you think after the Nets who are in the process of stripping it down to the studs and are a minimum 4 years from being relevant will give all there cap space to Kuminga. In terms of negotiating the Warriors have all the leverage on him. Dunleavy and the entire organization knows that. This insiders says he would move a 22 year old who makes 7 million with no leverage. For what? Who’s the guy we trade Kuminga for to put us over the top? Steph said “do you trust me or not? Yessir! “Then sit down and shut up!” Yessir!
    Worst case: they are heroes for being self aware. The worst part of the losing has been their seeming inability to know why it was happening or what to do about it. It’s actually better that they know.
    Best case: takes the pressure off the younger players and they get back to playing basketball as themselves because that amount of pressure on players that had barely been in the league, much less playing starting positions was ridiculous.

  • @mvm1995
    @mvm1995 День назад

    Friedell has it right. There is no move that this team can make (keeping Steph) that will put them in the top tier with OKC, Boston, Cavs…
    And paying Kuminga $40+ million while he develops over the next 4 years will not put them in the top tier (and not worth the money).
    The unstated problem is Steph’s salary. He is certainly worth the $$ from a “draw” perspective. People want to see him play. But he is not worth the $$ from a production perspective. He can no longer carry the team through the regular season. He hasn’t done that since 2019. The CBA is written so you need two+ players in their prime to win a chip and Steph is no longer that. The Warriors need to add TWO all stars in their prime (through trade or free agency).
    So either Steph is traded, or Steph agrees to take a vet minimum, or the team stays like it is today and we enjoy the occasional Curry Flurry until he retires.

    It’s good a lot of y’all not in the front office making decisions because you’ll forever have swinging door policy just trading player after player and still not achieve a championship. The key is building within and chemistry. An old aging kevin durant is not gonna achieve anything n you mortgage your future away for player this gonna miss as many games as Steph?? It would’ve worked 3 or 4 years ago but now it’s too late Steph is admitting his body is starting to betray him so trading jk is stupid the other young players trade them but him keep.

      @ yea but that’s a big IF. GS priority should always be the guy who you won’t find again for another 25 years or never. You can always build a homegrown all star. Can you build a Steph Curry, even at 37?

    • @kks2360
      @kks2360 3 дня назад

      @@kayfray4927 that is a wild statement. You’re saying we need to find the exact, perfect player? That’s not how any of that works.
      Nobody “built” Steph, they just provided the environment for him to thrive, which GSW still has. Literally nobody saw Steph not just becoming the greatest Warrior of all time, but the face of the NBA globally. Sorry, no organization can take credit for that.
      But that should make you realize that we possibly do have the next Steph Curry, but how would you know if you keep trading away your younger players? Ty Jerome is on the Cavs right now. Poole is on the Wizards. And now you want to trade away the second highest scorer on the team at 22 years of age? B.J. Armstrong was adamant that Kuminga is good enough to be that player and that he gets to learn from the best where he is right now. You know better than B. J. Armstrong?
      How many signs do you need to see pointing to the right answer before you just accept it as the truth? And even if he doesn’t become a Steph, he definitely has the potential to become a Hardaway or a Mullin. I will gladly take either of those in addition to whoever plays for this team.
      Y’all ask for too much and sound irrational while you do it.

    The Golden State Warriorshave to be the dumbest organization over the past 3 years that they haven't made the playoffs. They cut a upcoming player named Daegwon Plowden. Plowden just came off the bench for the Atlanta Hawks, and won their game by scoring 26 points, and shooting 5 for 6 from 3 points territory. The current Golden State Warriors don't have anybody on their team that can score 26 points on 5 of 6 shooting from 3 points territory. I don't know if old man Steph Curry can shoot that good now. The Golden State Warriors are ditching up and coming players to hold on to these trash basketball players. Klay Thompson was and is washed up. But Jordan Poole, and this Plowden kid can definitely put the ball in the basket. They were really high on this Plowden kid, and yet they still cut this kid. Golden State Warriors loss is the Atlanta Hawks gain. Cutting good shooters is a losing proposition in the National Basketball Association. These current crop of Warriors are cooked. Wiggins isnt dependable, Moody doesn't have it, Draymond Green is mostly mouth, and Techincal fouls, and let's just tell the truth that Steph Curry isn't that fellow any longer. Jonathan Kuminga is a good piece, but they don't have the heart to keep him. They have their little hearts set on a washed up Steph Curry. It ain't happening because Steph Curry is on his last legs. This organization is dreaming of yesteryear. This organization is washed up.😢😢😢😢
