@@lindajackson8389 my goodness! I just read ur comment and saw that u were 66yrs old? If that is ur profile picture I'm looking at right now, I am stunned! Girl, u look like u are in ur 30's, MAYbe... IF that! Whatever skincare routine u have, I WANT IT! I am 43 and have always been a pretty big tomboy, never had a skincare routine and never worn makeup, I'm just now getting into all that. And it's very difficult trying to play catch up with it all!! Thank the Lord I'm blessed so far with my mother's Gene's, who is 80yrs old and barely looks 50 or 60.. I'm guessing good genes run in ur family as well! Anyways, just wanted to comment on how beautiful I thought u were and see if u would come off any beauty secrets u have found to be particularly beneficial? And skincare routine u have? I mean, if u have time to comment on that, I would greatly appreciate it!

Julie Hudson Aww thank you so much. Yes this is my real profile picture no touch up or whatever you younger folks use to touch up pictures. Julie you’re so right I think it’s in the the genes 🧬 also, my mom was 83 when she died and she looked very young I remember we were in a store 🏬 and I was much younger than maybe in my 40s and this lady asked her were we sisters. I thought what a compliment to us both because my mom to me had beautiful skin well the same question was put to me and my daughter not long ago we were in a department store and the sale lady asked my daughter were we sisters my daughter is 42 but the look on her face was Why would she asked me that!!.? I felt kind of bad because my daughter is truly beautiful and I know she didn’t want to look as though she was my age. Julie to answer your question I try to take care of myself the best I can my husband who is 68 we just enjoy life our grandchildren and as far as skin care I truly don’t have a routine I just follow the ladies on RUclips that is in my age group or close to it and get ideas from them. My secret is to love yourself and the people that is close to you and take good care of yourself 1st. Thank you 🙏🏽 again.🥰

@@lindajackson8389 Ha.. u called me "u young people"! Don't think I've been called that in quite a while. And what good advice u have. To love urself and enjoy life! That's a little hard for me at the moment.. I've had to move back home with my mother about 5 yrs ago due to her health, thought I would be moving back out on my own after her surgeries, but a year and half ago she was diagnosed with early Alzheimer's and someone would have to drag me out of here now, I'll be here with her now for the remainder of her life, and I'm hoping that will be years and years and years. She had a life like u describe though, full of love and enjoyment with an adoring husband of 50 years that was her soulmate, until he passed in 2009, and a loving family and church family. Things just aren't the same with Daddy gone though. How could they be, I guess? But my time is filled with her and her needs and that makes me more incredibly happy than I would have ever thought it would. It doesn't leave any time for myself but I'm not sure what I would do with it at this point if it did? She's always wanted me to be into makeup and the like, but I was a straight daddy's girl, fishing and hiking and catching crawdads in the creek behind our house.. So now, I figure that makeup is something that she enjoys that we can do together! Except I know hardly nothing about it and she is steady forgetting it all herself. So, I, like u, have turned to RUclips! And it's taught me a great deal. Just have to know who to listen to and who is trying to "sell" something. And like u said, try to listen to the folks my own age.. But I like ur advice, it seemed to do wonders for my mom! For real though, she's Never had a crazy 8 or 10 step routine, only Oil of Olay each morning and that Albolene cold cream to get her makeup off every night. And that was IT! No fancy face wash, no face wash of any kind! She'd wash her face with just water in the morning or regular soap in the shower! God forbid, right? haha.. wish u could see a pic of her to see just how beautiful she is!
As far as ur daughter not taking the comment as u urself did all those yrs ago, maybe u mistook the look on her face and she really did take it as a compliment? I mean, there's NO way she could look at u and be anywhere Near disappointed with someone comparing u two! I do that same thing though.. always expect the worst, or over analyzing every little thing when receiving a comment OR compliment. Don't know why I'm like that!? Just the Gemini in me, I reckon.. But I did want to thank u for ur simple, candid advice and let u know I believe it Is the genes, but now that u commented what u did, and that being the exact way my own beautiful mother lived her life, I truly believe that attests to the way one lives their life as well! With Love. Love really May be "All we need!"

Great review Tammy! I wore that makeup for the first time 2 weeks ago...it blended well and it looked great. I had to go to the DMV and after 2 hours I came out and looked at my face in my car mirror and about died. It had separated and made my pores look just ghastly. I looked at least 7 years older wearing this makeup. I looked dehydrated. I went home and washed it off. I tried it again and it was even worse. I am 64 and that foundation was just not for me. I have combo skin but the funny thing is I did see footage of myself in the car that day and my skin looked fine....but I knew close up, it was a mess! This got way too long...it was great to see you, Tammy...its always so wonderful to spend time with you xxoo Sues & The Dez

Love how you review these products! I'm so glad I ran across your video channel.
I'm going to try this makeup. As a woman now in my early sixties, I've had a heck of a time finding a foundation that looks good on my aging skin. Everything I try looks cakey, oxidizes on my skin and seems to make my lines & wrinkles more pronounced. So I end up looking older, washed out and orange! I have had no botox or fillers of any kind so I do have lines around my mouth, a bit on my forehead and of course eyes.....tho being diagnosed with systemic lupus when I was a young teen I've had to stay out of the sun my entire life. That has helped save my skin from premature aging, sun spots etc. Can't wait to give this makeup a try. Thanks for reviewing this foundation!!

I’m 40 and have always taken great care of my skin however I’ve noticed for first time some aging… the horror 😂 but it’s the reality of life! I’m currently researching for preventative purposes or rather to elongate my youth (wishful thinking lol) I’ve always used high end makeup but lately I’m learning drug store products have really up’d their game! I love you, and your videos! I’m so glad I found you! Your tips are phenomenal and honest, I appreciate this bc many channels will say and do what they are paid to do however you are real and honest and I trust you and your advice! Right there with you Meno buddy, I turn 61 this week. Constantly looking for the perfect foundation that covers but doesn't worsen the wrinkles and such and of course stays put! At this point I don't think I will find one that makes me look younger! I want to look dewy without the greasy feeling. So far for me "The one to beat" is Fit me foundation. I continually go back to it!

Hi Tammy, I’m 61 with normal skin and a very oily t zone. I love this foundation for me. I use one pump, blend out with an Artis brush and then go over it with a sponge. I have a lot of broken capillaries that I then put concealer on and then lightly powder. All foundations settle in my lines, but this one settles the least of most I have tried. I am normally a high end foundation lover and this is in my top 4. It feels very light weight and lasts 8-10 hours with no touch ups.

I too, have botox in my "11" area, and a little in my upper forehead, and now I want to get it around mouth...I'm thinking that will be my next request! No fillers...yet. I have dry skin. I tried it in 465 Sand. I used a primer & powder, and I added under eye concealer. It lasted all day, no transfer no oxidation at all, and I really think it's going to be my new Summer go to!

I am 64, have normal skin with some larger pores on forehead and texture/pores on cheeks. I have annoying spider veins around my nose. Minimal wrinkles, some sagging jowls and beginning to get marionette lines around the mouth. I began using this foundation last week. I used it with Becca primer, the glowy one, and without primer. I have applied it with a beauty blender and my fingers. I LOVE this foundation. I have found it best applied with the blender and no primer needed. It lasts all day and looks great with minimum movement and creasing. A think it is a success

Great, thorough review Tammy! I can never seem to find a drugstore foundation I like. I think the dehydration aspect of this would be a deal breaker. My skin is very similar to yours - at 56 dry, aging, sagging, getting my Mom's jowls...blah blah blah! I bought the Sonya Kashuk sponge based on your videos and I love it. I hope you do a follow up on the laser treatment on your lips. I have those pesky lines and nothing seems to work.

Yes i have tried the foundation. I'm 63 and almost everything is great with this Foundation except one thing, yes it does make my skin look dehydrated. And using a dewy Foundation will make my skin to oily looking within a few hours specially living in a warm climate. And powder is not my friend.. ..LOL..😉
Thank you Miss Tammy, great review have a wonderful weekend. 🐝

tylynn ritchie don’t buy it, save your money. It’s not a good foundation for mature alcohol. It’s very drying, emphasizes every pore to crater proportion, every line, every wrinkle is emphasized. Colour selection isn’t great either. Plus it has an awful fragrance. This foundation is over rated, over priced and over done. The L’Oréal true match is far better.

Rachel Ross thank you for your information!!! I have used True Match but it has been a few years ago but I did like it. I did buy the Estee Lauder double stay.... not impressed especially after spending $42 on it!! 😡

Love your videos and honest, through reviews. I have heard great things about this foundation but I really wanted to see what you think about it. You are such a beautiful woman! I’d kill for your lips! Lol I think the foundation looked really good on you. Thank you so much for reviewing it. I’ve been gone for awhile after a bad accident so I know I’ve missed a lot. Will have to binge on your videos which is always fun!❤️😉

Hi Tammy, I can confirm that the lid will come off or if not you can get a knife, and very carefully, prise it off to get a long eyeshadow brush down in there. I used to wear this foundation quite a bit at one time can't remember now if it can cause me spots but it definitely stays put and doesn't make my 40 year old skin look too old, I use expensive foundations but wouldn't say no to this one again x

Very thorough review Tammy, thank you! I wonder if you had tried it with one coat on one side and two on another, but I guess that would of changed the whole review since you were trying different products underneath. I did think it looked the best on you with the one coat. ❤️

Excellent review. I am impatiently waiting for your “The best 5 foundations for my skin” (or even better 10), I am watching your channel for 6 years regularly but I do not comment often; I also have very dry mature skin, I am the same age as you and everything what you recommend usually works for me. Thank you very much for all you hard work.

Yay! I love a good foundation review. I have a ton of foundations at the moment so I'm not in the market and I haven't tried this one. I can't bring anything to the table on it. Still, I *love* foundation reviews, I'm glad you're doing this series. I have yet to find a drugstore foundation that floors me but they're getting better all the time.
You look fantastic, lovely lady. Bisous.

First time watching your videos. Love how you went into detail on everything. I use this foundation. I am 48 with severe dry skin. I also have minimal fine lines and wrinkles. I always mix a touch of argan oil with this foundation. It applies better on my dry skin that way. I had watched Elle Leary and she suggested a facial oil. I also use a hydrating primer and my face is well hydrated beforehand. I now use it every time I get ready. I also use a concealer with hydralonic acid and lightly set my undereye. This is how I use it. Loved the tutorial.

I'm 68 & have normal skin (can get dry @ times, like in the winter). Have been watching the reviews & will probably give it a go. I have bought a lot of expensive foundations that don't work, so why not? Was wondering how much you prep your skin before the primer, because I have a toner, serum, moisturizer routine I'm fairly religious about and it really makes a difference as to how my makeup wears. I also like finishing with a setting spray, and really like the NYX dewy, but also use Mac Fix, The All Nighter, Skandinavia, & another drug store one I can't remember the name of at the moment. I hear Catrice makes a dewy one & am going to try it when it's back in stock...and by-the-by, Catrice has got some great products!

Hi Tammy. I bought this recently and I love it. I’m 52 with relatively normal skin, a little dry under the eyes. I found it wore well and didn’t settle into any lines or exaggerate m6 pores. I usually wear Estée Lauder double wear each day,but I’ve reached for the Infallible a lot more since purchasing it. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Bernardette 💋

Hey tammy... i got my lid off yesterday with a butter knife under lid and it came off but be careful as alittle foundation sprayed out so be careful where u do it. Mind you there was lots of foundation left probably enough for three applications so glad I did it otherwise it would've been a waste. I love this foundation except it is very runny which goes down the bottle sometimes and makes bit of a mess

I like the way you are so upfront and honest about the treatments you have had. It’s also refreshing to see on utube a 60 year old woman whose subtle and discerning use of make up can make her look glamorous, elegant and classy without that usually overstated look of being all made up, if you know what I mean, Tammy.😊
