Bought the models a while ago, but finally bought the additional bits I needed and so pleased with it. Louder than I expected so totally usable indoors
i am currently working on a fully mechanical and full auto capable hpa engine like the one you showcased a while ago it should also be fully capable of taking CO2 cartridges in the stock
Been using a dap of superglue to secure the spoon ejection spring on mine. Both on the impact and the trip mine. Got some of the 40mm springs yesterday. Would love for you to make a 209 primer fuse.
Thanks mate, that tiny little hole really makes a difference. It can still work without the spring being shaped, but it makes it a lot more stable and allows for increased sensitivity.
Could you glue the end of the spring rather than bending it? Or will that affect function? Also would I need to worry about getting hurt if it went off in my hand lol
I suppose so, but you might find the glue may fail from constant flexing. I've fired many in my hands, shouldn't be an issue. Slight warmth from the flash. Officially, I should recommend you don't. But if you keep your hands away from the exhaust ports you'll be fine, but watch your hearing.
Did not test it yet, but my idea was that I will add a ring to the spoon and use some thread to connect it to the grenade body. This was it will fly nicely off the body, but you will not loose it
Bought your Model and Springs are on the way too. During the first test with a rather weak Spoon Spring I was a bit concerned tough. How does the spoon hold? Mine seems to slip very easily off the notch in the back of the Fuze.
Thank you for the sale. Is it bending off the fuze? What spoon style is it? I do need to add a slight bump to the M84 spoon at some point to keep it from jumping off.
@FulcrumAirsoft I got the M84 FlashBang and after watching this video twice now, I think the problem is my stupidity :P Without the bolt and main spring on the Fuse ofc it will not hold the spoon 🤣 I do not have these parts yet. I would really reccomend to change the thread design tough. I made quite a few 3D printed parts with threads and always had the best results with rectangular threads, modified with chamfers.
Where did you buy the springs, or do you have any more property about the spring other than 1,4 x 14 x 40? Like number of coils or load capacity. I have a hard time finding similar springs. Thanks in advance!
I get them from a supplier in China, I'll have to look them up again. But I did use an M110 recently and it worked fine when shaped the same way. I'll have a look for other properties.
@@FulcrumAirsoft Thank you! I already printed two grenades that are using M110 spring with the old fuze body. Unfortunately I cannot bend the end of it, because it would be too short. So i'm just looking for cheaper options.
@@leventewrabel www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176018705826?var=475459316091 These are the springs I use for production models. They work very well, but the only thing is the lead time, which has nearly caught me out before.
@@FulcrumAirsoft after some testing i’m thinking that the caps i’m using are just super low quality since hitting them with a hammer sometimes doesn’t even work.
@satj8539 Yeah, I don't want to just blame everything but the Meteorite, but the caps I use seem very reliable. In fact I lost my Meteorite once and found it 2 weeks later on a soaking wet day and it still fired at least half of them even after getting soaking wet. Also found remnants of a Comet from my last event and that fired when struck. Sohni Wicke caps are what I use. They cost me approx 15-20p each firing

Thanks for the business mate. If you use decent caps, even outdoors it'll be loud.

Get yourself a deburring tool mate, so much easier than using a scalpel. Fantastic designs, will check them out on cults.
Thanks mate. You know I keep meaning to get one. Been wanting one for ages but never took 5 minutes to get one.

got a link to those springs?
Nice design!

awesome design I will definitely be checking this out on cults. Do you have a design for Ramset 22 cartridges?
Thanks mate. Unfortunately not, been advised by site owners to avoid blanks.

Where do I find the roofing bolt for it? I can't find it anywhere near me or online.
Any 5x50 bolt will do as long as the head isn't wider than 12mm if I remember correctly. The bolt head has to be smaller or equal in size to the sear.
There's any option of having a captive spoon? Because having one flying off isn't very convenient
That's what the twist fuze is for. A fixed spoon will break off if it lands on it awkwardly.

Any chance you'll be doing a primer grenade?
My local site has advised me against it. Printing a BFG is a whole different kettle of fish, a lot of insurers get twitchy apparently.

Can be adjusted too the sensitivity of the twist head fuze?
The spring system is identical across both fuzes. So yes you can tweak and tune the twist head.
anyone else having problems with the caps not going off ?
What caps are you using? Do they fit properly?
