Thank you so much, Miss Jacqueline!… I thought they turned out pretty decent too, even though I was using just the one cane to create them all… So I hope you’ll create a few of these yourself and enjoy them! Sending you my hugs… Big hugs!🤗👍🏻❤️
Oh Laura, I love your butterflies!! I think the last pair of earrings are my favorites. But, all are just stunning!!❤❤ When my mom was very ill & she thought she was going to die. She told me each time I see a 🦋 butterfly it would be her thinking or checking on me from heaven. I never forgot that. May she RIP🩷🦋❤
Awwwww, Miss Julz. What a wonderful thing your mother left with you… You are blessed, lady… You are blessed!… And she is very likely at peace, but I do believe she’s also smiling. And lady, thank you so much for your kind compliment, and just think about it… This was only with one Polymer Clay cane!! Imagine what more you could do!! Sending you my big hugs your way!🤗👍🏻❤️
You are most welcome! And I’m thrilled that you were attempting to do the butterflies and dragonflies! LOLOL!!!… also thank you for your kind compliment on my sense of humor… I can get a little bit nutty… But it keeps me on the happier and windier side of joy…. I hope you will continue to enjoy my videos and as always… from your neighbor to the north… I am Sending you my biggest of big hugs your way… 🤗👍🏻❤️
Beautiful!!! Love butterflies and butterfly jewelry but I'm afraid my talent just wouldn't measure up to such gorgeous pieces. Thank you so much for sharing your time, effort and talent. I truly enjoy your videos.
Oh my goodness! Well, thank you so much for the kind compliment, Miss Pamela!… I totally understand if you think that it would be hard to do this. But I always believe in everyone when it comes to being able to create if they truly set their mind and heart to it… A lot of this you have to know is practice, practice, practice. I have been working in Polymer Clay now for a very long time since 1994 to be exact and there is a little bit of practice involved but if you truly enjoy what you do and you love playing in the clay sometimes things come easier than you realize, and you can get so much joy from it. I do hope you might attempt somewhere down the line… Maybe not now, but maybe later to try this out or to at least play in the clay and have fun where you can! Sending you my biggest big big hugs!🤗👍🏻❤️
You are most welcome, Will!! I am thrilled I had something you would throughly enjoy!! I also love that you will be trying this out in a polymer clay painting project you have going on right now!! So Awesome!! I hope you will continue to check in on me and my videos moving forward. Sending hugs your way!! :)
Thank you so much! Miss Pam, I hope you will create a few of those pendants or earrings for yourself as well! Until next time… Sending my big hugs your way!🤗👍🏻❤️
My biggest thing when it comes to slicing, the wings is rotating the cane where I can every time I make a slice. So in other words, if I have the cane position down onto my table and I cut down creating a slice, I will then take the cane and flip it over, or flip it onto another side and cut on that side. This way then one particular side does not become as flattened as all the others. Now with this said, another method might be using some scrap clay or some white clay. That’s been flattened down to a certain degree like about a half of an inch And thickness and placing that cane on top of that and cutting down and creating a slice this way, then the clay underneath the wing will be taking the brunt of that pressure as you slice down. I do hope this helps some and makes a difference for you, Miss Donna, sending you my big hugs!🤗👍🏻❤️

When you are slicing the wings how do you make so that it doesn’t squish when you are cutting?
