My mom had the same little Avon pitcher and bowl i belave it was around the early to mid 70s , I used to hate it as a kid but now that I am older I can appreciate it more now, But it brought back some great memories, so thank you for sharing your new finds.

I would be scared of those bins- Gloves would not be enough to ease my mind. But then I get anxiety unnecessarily. Please be careful! The transferware plate was a steal. So pretty! ❤😊

I’ve gone to the goodwill bins once so far and it was an experience 😁 I didn’t have the courage to do the aggressive shopping so I waiting till everyone was done and still found some good finds. One day I’ll get the courage to join the crowds. I like the white and blue mug you got!

@@UniquelyLesa that’s what the employee at goodwill told me it’s called is “aggressive shopping” and I thought ok I better not try that type of shopping for my 1st time lol 😆 but it didn’t look too bad I had to just watch from a distance to get an idea of how it works. Thanks for sharing
Years ago (60's? 70's?) my mom had the Avon pitcher. Hers was a darker turquoise color, so it makes me wonder if yours has faded over time. My son goes to the bins frequently. He is a reseller and has had some amazing finds -- along with a dead mouse and other things that could be deadly. It is definitely a treasure hunters dream.

Hi there. I agree with you! I think some locations display merchandise better than this one. The Goodwill Bins is a clearance center where items that didn't sell at the regular retail locations get shipped off to and sold by the pound. My guess is they just don't want to waste the manpower on it. These bins/outlet locations are few and far between too. Not many of them around. Thanks so much for watching. Hi there! Great questions that I'm happy to answer. I wear a crossbody hands free purse. This allows me to walk away from my basket if it gets congested in the aisles as well as keep my personal belongings safer. I've never felt unsafe or anything at the bins just good general safety practice and better shopping experience. I take a small package of disinfecting wipes for the basket handle and then periodically use to wipe my hands. Also hand sanitizer. At this particular location things are extra dusty and make your hands feel gross in my opinion. I see some people wearing gloves. I have some but don't wear them mostly because I am trying to use my phone to record and the gloves make it nearly impossible. There will be some people wearing masks. Don't know if that is for the bins specifically or just in general but I always leave stuffy from the dust and probably any cat dander as I am highly allergic. Lastly, bring a good attitude and patience. 😅 People have always been nice but it can get crowded and people will not move to accommodate you. It is everyone for themselves at the bins. 😉I've watched some Goodwill Bins videos where everything is organized, on shelves and easy to browse. Definitely not the case here at the Lubbock, TX location. I encourage you to go, enjoy the experience, and let me know how your first trip goes! I think it is a lot of fun and am excited when I have the rare opportunity to travel through town and get to shop. XO ❤️
I don't like resellers, they make the prices go up and poor people can't afford anything even at the thrift. As soon as they mention selling, I turn it off and unsubscribe.
