I used to play water polo in high school. I played goalkeeper, really liked it. My coach said I was the best goalkeeper he had ever seen that had no leg power lol. The problem is that I didn't play for long. Before that I was on the less serious team playing fiel positions. I then got in the goal once during training and did well and that's where I stayed, but I only continued playing water polo for about a year before personal life got the best of me and I lost passion for a lot of things. I still miss water polo. But I'm too busy with university now. But oh well I had fun. I still remember my first varsity game. Out usual goalkeeper received an elbow that caused his nose to bleed profusely and I jumped in to replace him. I made several saves including a penalty shot 😊
ZPERO Good thing you got to play in high school. I wish I had the chance to play for school but mine didn't even have a swimming pool back then... Gotta choose a right school if you wanna play polo. :/
I used to play polo in the GK position but I'm too short and they kicked me from the team... makes me sad that I'll never be able to amount to what those 6'4 keepers can do no matter how much I practice technique
Dante Castle I'm 5'10 and I make it work honestly height doesnt mean everything if you go the legs it's a bonus but look at meril Moses he's only like 6'0
Michael Banda yeah cuz even though tall goalies are seen as better suited people, as long as you have the angles then it should be fine. Lol I could use some height tho. I’m 5’5 and I’m about to go into freshman year so hs wapo.
So I am not sure if you are still active on this account (person who made these highlights) but if you are. I wanna let you know you are an amazing goalie and would like to know how long it took you to become that good 7 years ago.
My son picked it up quickly in Freshman year of high school. His basketball skills translated well. He played in the Junior Olympics three times by the end of high school. He was lucky to have a coach who was an elite goalie in college
i wish we had goalkeeper like him
