The Gold Record winning STARS who began in Adelaide Australia in the late 1970's have continued to have a dedicated audience. Due to this Mick & Mal have began performing together for a few very exclusive shows around Australia

I remember hearing Brod Smith sing it at the Andy Durrant Memorial Concert in 1980, and knowing then, that it was one of the best songs on the album.

Mick Pealing still has one of the best voices I have ever heard. Richness, emotion and timing. His interpretation makes this song.

Thanks For this song. I was actually lucky enough to meet Andy Durant in a record store when Star's 1st single was released - Quick On The Draw I think. He was gracious enough to Sign it, and I'm happy to say I still have it! What a great talent. Truly missed.

Broderick Smith recorded that song. Apparently, this was the last song written by Andrew Durant and had to be finished by Mal Eastick. I saw Mick Pealing a while back in the Woolworths supermarket at Middle Camberwell, but I pretended I didn't recognize him.
Unreal version of such a beautiful song, legendary australian musicians...loved growing up in this era. I have recently been diagnosed with a cu.. of a thing, motor neurone disease...ocean deep. Xx

IMHO Broderick Smith's AD Memorial Concert vocalisation is the definitive version but this one is good.

Mal Eastick does a version on one of his solo albums. It’s brilliant and is my favourite But wow what an incredible expression of what Andy was feeling as he was dying of cancer RIP Andy and thanks for leaving us so many great songs 🙏
