    Lise, do you add the flow medium, retarder medium and clear glaze medium mixture to all the paints or just to the detailing paint? Thanks.

      Hi, and thank you for asking! For this particular piece, I actually used just water for a medium in the main brush work. In part 2 of this series, I demonstrated how I would tip my brush in the water, blot on paper and then tip my brush into my paint before I applied the brush stokes. This gave my paint enough flow to move nicely on the frame. I often will use the 3 part medium when I paint, but made the decision to not use it this time to show how water can easily be used as a medium with these acrylic paints.
