Despite the rough launch, Breakpoint is now one of the best tactical experiences solely down to terrain diversity (less than Wildlands but still good), weapon and customisation choice, reworked sound design, co-op and player choice. The fact that you can tailor the game to your desire through things such as darker nights, less patrols or no drones really adds a layer of replay-ability that many games lack

I really never imagined it when it first released but this has become one of those games that I constantly come back to and still have fun playing it.
True. Every friend whose discovering the game is a good opportunity to come back in br. We can't get tired of coop, especially in immersiv.
Great game that I keep coming back to. With the correct realism settings it's a blast. Auroa is a beautiful island to spend time in.
Sometimes I wish my teammate would be stealthy like this....then he starts dropping people left and right and I have to play clean up and revive the rest of the time lol.

@@ceaserknk6640 oh you could say that lol. It's pretty funny to watch. Everytime I walk away from his position a second later I hear tons of gunfire or "I'm down" lol.

On the Series X it is like a brand new game. We killed ALL HUD, including the compass and turned on Darkest night, NVG's no Thermal and no fast traveling. Bad ass.

I'm also delighted when I see a Breakpoint video arrive; they're what got me hooked on Custer, and there's simply nothing better than Custer killing mercs on Auroa.

I just started playing through Wildlands again this week! Can't believe how much fun the GR games are even after all this time.
Breakpoint became amazing with the Recent conquest update. Truly something special for co-op

On Xbox here and the servers have been down for both Wildlands and Breakpoint for over a month. Damn shame because I love this game solo and I can't imagine how fun this would be co-op.
Yo Custer, since you and Havoc have done quite a few 2-man stealth videos, what are the best bases/missions to practice 2 man ops?
(I got a friend into this game recently and want to have some good old co-op fun)
I'd recommend you do check points raid, search around and find bases to infiltrate should give your new guy an idea on how the game works
Edit: it's a good warm-up too
This one was hard base I cleared this bass a month ago it took hours but I cleared it after 20 tries solo but you guys did really good your communication was top notch and excellent gameplay as always keep it up 👍

Now doing the full game with a friend in immersiv, and minimum hud. When it comes to coop, Breakpoint is unbeatable. Epic.

Its down to you guys that I picked up the game for my friend and I to play. I dismissed it at launch due to bad reviews. But now we are playing it on your settings. Frustrating to start with, getting used to controls and stealth, but now we are having an amazing time with it.

Exactly... and i dont even mind the little rpg gear perks stint of the original mode, I just consider it as some form of simulated progressions & weapon qualities.
If only they still support and keep pumping out new contents (new gears, weapons, locations.... Moa is such a missed opportunity) for this game like how the dev keep bringing back division 2 .... this game would still rocks.

Why is this game's gameplay so addictive?
Would have loved it if cross-platform came to this beside they decided to seize the updates. I didn't pick it up until immersive mode was released
I'd be interested to see you play with the Spartan Mod, Custer. To my knowledge, it's Solo only because you need to bypass the anti-cheat, but it really changes the whole game. Suppressed ARs and rifles are still loud and enemies can see you and engage from much, much further away.
Nope it's usable in coop both players need to run the mod though
It would be cool to see him try some Breakpoint mods, but he's said in the past that he is hesitant to do so due to potential issues arriving from breaking the TOS we all agreed to when we started Breakpoint.
I don't think there's any real issue with Ubisoft that Custer would run into, but I do understand that sometimes it is better to be safe than sorry.

He made a couple of vids on that topic. And the usual conclusion is to take the good parts of Wildlands and Breakpoint, add a bit more realism and just make a good game that learns from past games.

what rifle is that? I use the 416 assault special with the same eotech 3x set up. never failed me. I also usually carry the G28 with me as well since I'm always the designated marksman in the team

It would be cool if you could customize your battle belt on this game and choose what goes on it I.e gadgets and pouches that are essential to the mission
do you have a video with all the settings you use? i think without those settings playing breakpoint is not worth
you need to take ammo retention off so every shot counts instead of shooting 3 rounds and reloading and still having the whole mag still

Hey man I just bought breakpoint and I’m noticing a shadow creep up on the screen when you hide behind an object is there any way to turn that off? Also night vision is complete ass on my 4K monitor it looks 720p doesn’t even seem like there’s a reason to use it, are there any setting to make it less fuzzy?

I can tell you, he's very excited about it. And for the map, it was made for a multiplayer game, not a main line Gr game.

Im still trying to understand how it all works. The multiplayer coop is confusing. So if my friend has beaten more missions than me, can i still help him beat those missions? Do they beat for me too even if i didnt get to them yet?

I just bought Breakpoint last Friday and went with realism mode for my first playthrough and love it. My only complaint is that the AI is dumb as rocks and it breaks the immersion sometimes. Except behemoth drones, fuck those things lol.
Lmg or sniper specialisation with bunker buster rounds ull melt the bohemoths

If only the ai was smarter… if only they could spot you from a distance, and not spot you when perfectly camouflaged… if only they actually heard your gunshots at realistic ranges.. if only we had long distance shootouts… etc. etc. ya know… less arcade, more simulation… but nope.

Why do none of my 3 friends have an interest in this game. I've always wanted to play it co-op but I've never had anyone to squad up with.
Doesn’t removing the drones kinda break the story tho? I really want to enjoy the game without the drones but I feel like they are a pretty integral (unfortunately) part of the game.
Drones that are important to the story aren't removed
now try play wildlands with your friends impossible since they never fix the servers
You can't compare this to Arma 3 co-op.
I dont agree the games ai and feel ruin it for me like ya i can understand why u feel it is but to me it isn’t strictly because there isnt any feeling through the gameplay or anything it’s just bland very little customization ai are poor and all the camps and bases feel the same and are boring to go through
