Just bought one of these, they dont work on smallish potatoes. They need to be medium to large. Jersey royals are too small. Just for info.

So the pieces don't come off so they can be washed? REALLY??
I recently purchased one elsewhere. I believe it's' the same model. The blade part and the bottom spike part come off and are easy to wash.
