- A magical storyteller tells enchanting tales based on Aboriginal Canadian
folklore and history. It features the comic adventures, magical
transformations and mysterious circumstances surrounding a young coyote
named Dwight. He falls from the sky into the midst of a community of
idiosyncratic animals.
This is the final episode of The Longhouse Tales. I've uploaded them all to archive.org without watermark archive.org/details/the-longhouse-tales
Leave suggestions for what I should upload next!
YOU DID IT! You've got them all!
You shall be promoted to Microsoft Storyteller.
How about you upload "1001 Nights" next or "Freaky Stories"?
Maybe…. You could… upload some more rare children’s shows we’ve never seen before…
What’s your next upload chicken minute tv show is rare to find the English episodes and the swamp critters of lost lagoon m. And shame season 2 never happened
Can you upload shelley duvall's bedtime stories series next, please also jason and the heroes of mount Olympus as well.
I know what you're thinking: *"Will they ever return?"*
My answer to you is this: *We'll never know, but one cannot choose but to wonder.*
Man what a great series, I'm glad I got to experience it, though so many unanswered questions
Nevertheless, thank you Lue Duck for sharing!
Awh… this series is so good and cute and fun. Sad to see it end, but what a great show. :)
Welp, it was fun while it lasted. Thank you, Lue Duck, for posting _The Longhouse Tales_ for our enjoyment, I enjoyed the ride, but, like all good things it's come to an end.
Even so, I'm glad thz stories are here for us to enjoy, to inspire us, and even to teach us something. After all, there's nothing like a good story to kindle the imagination!
While some things never got answered (like where Dwight came from, whether Pepper ever reunited with her mother, and so on) life doesn't work that way. You may find some of the answers you're looking for, but never all of them. Tho u may very well find some u needed w/o even realizing it!
Blessed be to all who enjoy _The Longhouse Tales_
Thank you for uploading this. Its a really great show. I appreciate the quality puppets, good performances, and 90s conservationcore vibe. Thats reductive, though.. i think its more meaningful that I thought it would be going in. I LOVE HECTOR LONGHOUSE i usually like the humans least on shows with puppets but hes so cool.
Id want to cook and eat ticonderoga but he is poison lol
Well, that's that. I gotta say, after seeing this series by random, I was at first a bit skeptical of how it was gonna be like, but when my curiosity got the best of me, now I really do think this show is gonna stick with me forever! Even if it was cancelled, it was absolutely amazing seeing these episodes! And I'm very glad this wasn't FULLY like Muppets, cause otherwise I would've just skipped this series as a whole! But I'm glad I was able to stick around to the end for this series! It's definitely a hidden gem for sure! But still, it's sad that we never got to look into Dwight's origin, or even more so, where he came from...! But either way, like I said, this series is definitely a gem that I'll cherish! 😁
I kinda wish they made more seasons of this show.
It would've been interesting to know how Dwight, Ginger, and Ish who be for the winter when Bella, Falsteff and Pepper are hibernating.
Or heck, maybe some a new character or two.
Or maybe....one of us fans could make a fanficton of the show.😉
I don't know if they could have afforded to make new puppets. People have mentioned that they're Jim Henson quality, and I think he mostly did Hollywood movies, so a small Canadian show probably wouldn't have the same resources.
@ThePrincessCH still, though it would be cool if they could.
It's a shame this show only lasted one season. Because I think they made something unique and inspiring.
🦃: "Look, it's Ish!"
Ish: "Huh? You know me?"
🦃: "Sure do! Oh, i really like you too! Well, a bit moody sometimes and intense."
Ish: *GRRRRR*
🦃: "OH! B-b-b-but uh you've got a-a good heart and you just ought to lighten up a bit, ehehe😅"
Stick: "This bird demonstrates a powerful intelligence."
And that was how and why no 🦃 was hunted and cooked that night!
(I forgot how to spell the 🦃 name😅, his name is just so long!)
My favorite characters are the fruit bats, Dwight and ginger
Ish and Pepper are my favorites, personally.
Awesome
A wonderful series, too bad it’s never made to germany.😢
And that’s a wrap sad it was not given more seasons
Or at least a proper ending for this series.
@@oddjob1795Canadian shows generally end on a cliffhanger.
@@ThePrincessCH this just felt like one of those random episodes
Fair point
@@oddjob1795 Aren't most episodes in this show random?
Land of the Lost
Hey Dude
Salute Your Shorts
100 Good Deeds For Eddie Mcdowd
Here we go now.
This is an awfully strange way to end the series. I thought we were gonna go in depth about Dwight's origin and stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if other episodes were planned. Any word if the creators ever spoiled their plans after the show was cancelled? Cause there are some unanswered questions.
I’ve found next to no information on this series. Not even a wiki.
@@Savagewolver If I recall correctly, somebody actually made a wiki of it. It just doesn't have an official wikipedia page.
@@Savagewolver I don't think it ever aired outside of Canada. It premiered in 2000 on APTN.
I think it plays into the mysterious factor. Hector Longhouse is an even bigger mystery than Dwight because he acts like he knows things even when they don't happen like Ticonderoga and the painting.
@termitesc.aardwolf3644 Where on the world wide web did you see a Wiki for this? I don't even think they were a thing when the show came out.
任務完了!
Noooo material things nooo!!! :(((
Amazing
Is it just me, or does Ish sound and act a lot like Shadow the Hedgehog?
This is strange
What will you upload next
This is the last one for the month😢
I’m glad Ticonderoga gets to meet the characters from the stories for the first time. The characters he hasn’t met is Falstaff and Kaa. It’s a good thing he didn’t run into Navar.
I'd like to see Longhouse and Ish interact, personally.
@@termitesc.aardwolf3644 I would have liked to see Dwight and Longhouse meeting. When Ginger met him, he said that he was a friend of Dwight's, and Dwight doesn't remember a thing about his past.

Did this show ever air in the United States?
I doubt it. As far as I know, APTN is an exclusively Canadian broadcast channel dedicated to the Indigenous creators of the country.
Thank you Lue duck.
This series was very good, interesting and gave us many stories.
Same here, very compelling stories
Im so happy I found this show, this became my comfort show to watch for the last couple months when I had time to. Thank you for having this uploaded, I probably would have never even heard of it otherwise!
It only lasted one season.
I actually tried to look up if Ticonderoga's name has any Native American significance, and apparently, it's a derivative of an Iroquois word that refers to two bodies of water meeting. Appropriate, don't you think?
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to watch this without seeing it stag on certain websites.
You did it!
It's been a good ride. Thank you, Lue Duck.
What’s your next video upload or are you done so fast depending on what’s next
What will you upload next?
Made first baby yes
I don't want the series to be over!
Thank you very much for sharing this.
