Going in for an oil change and coming out with no truck would be crazy 😂😂😂 I’m a company driver making 16-2200 a week so he not lien. Home every weekend sometimes one day from the week. I don’t think I want to pick up a bag full of responsibilities I don’t necessarily need. And on my first year too. I’m lucky
How do you think these truck repair shops get all those extra parts just lying around? That's why they say you can't watch them while they're working on your truck.
Worked for UPS etc before and they only had or seen etc they had One Owner operator and their UPS history something like that but u know how that goes no bs
Otr for people who want to feel “independent”. Fuk all that. Rather be a company driver, home everyday and turn off my brain after each shift. I hated OTR. Gotta preplan for everything, not just your route. I’m talking everything. Simple things like showering and cooking takes twice as long. Buncha setbacks. Customer cancels, can’t find a good empty, get stuck in soft dirt, find an air leak after hooking everything up and raising the legs. Etc
@delmonte30 tech security max out quick at 60k and what i heard you can just change to for example pogramming its way more complex. Cant compare to driving dry van want to learn reefer 1 week later you drive reefer. (Not personal experience , just online research
