Beast Zoro....if you knew Street Fighter Alpha 3, this is Shin Akuma. His speed is amazingly fast (recovery too from any action he does) and of course, the double air fireballs.
Shin Akuma is easily the hardest guy in the game to beat. I mean I remember the first time I fought him I was Evil Ryu, and it took me countless matches to even win 1 ROUND off him. Anybody who can beat him I think is an expert.
I tried fighting Shin Akuma on the easiest difficulty possible and he was still hard as hell. The problem in Alpha 3 for beginner players is that the AI difficulty is just super fucking cheap.
This brings back memories. Not good ones either, just the annoying bs that had my jaw drop and made me realize that shin akuma can beat any move you throw at him whenever he feels like it. 1:03 is a perfect example of what my first 15 matches were like.
Shin Akuma in SFA3 was Super Hard, I remember fighting him on the hardest difficulty for 6 straight hours with Evil Ryu losing over and over and not giving up until I finally beat him.
+Aggressive Attitude Era There are Alpha Counters in the game, in which you can burn meter for an instant knockdown, but it's not one of those - ACs can only reverse a blocked hit, not stuff an attack before it hits. (Also, there's no meter burn or lightning bolt animation.) It's just that Shin Akuma really is that fast - I don't think most characters could even jab-punish a shoryureppa at that distance, but Akuma just tatsu's right through like it's no big d.
This Super was made on level 1, has no invincible frame, so it was canceled by Shin Gouki's tatsu, until a weak punch lowered canceled this special, he only gains invincible frames, from level 2.
Shin Akuma is everything that is right about video games bosses. Too many bosses that are flat-out cheap and prompt you to be cheap in order to win. Shin Akuma wasn't cheap, he was just a straight beast who forced you to become a beast too if you wanted to defeat him. I was the best I ever was at this game when I was trying to beat him.
Shin Akuma is incredibly intense. His speed, power, and timing is Godly. When I was playing this game a lot I could win with no losses, but that was after a very long time of heavy play. Winning at ALL is something to be proud of, certainly.
alpha 2 version shin gouki is tougher if u fight him on the hardest difficulty and choose boss stage 2 in verses mode lol... trust me it feels almost impossible to beat him
João Paulo Lopes Abrão My friends and I only played on turbo7. I was probably the best. I'd get him. I'd get him good. With shin akuma on turbo7 you could go into this thing called 'the fury'. Turbo7 is so fast you end up fighting on pure instinct at that point. That makes you really fucking good over time, especially when teamed against human opponents who were just as good. I learned a lot of very quick ways to beat people down and do wicked combos on the fly. All of this without ever even needing to learn instant hell. Someone tries instant hell on me, I have a bunch of different moves to stop it and a couple others to evade it depending on the situation. This kind of playing is not without it's price. The blisters all of us developed were ridiculous XD
+Mattydigs I wish I could play you, I fight with Jen this very same way lol I caught myself saying "come on get em, you got this" lol I fight shin akuma for practice on max difficulty just cuz he is just too good of a fighter
YungSav16 Best fighting game ever. Try the dreamcast version if you get the chance. Even better, try it with at least 2 other friends. There are 2 extra multiplayer modes on the dc version. The best modes that there are. Dramatic Survival and 2v1 (all on same screen).
if you're still looking, i suggest the the aniversary edition over the alpha series. Includes hyper street fighter 2 and street fighter 3 third strike, quite possibly the best fighting game ever made. In my opinion.
@ShinobiXRevived yeah ur right...i deicided to play the game again and realize what u meant...once bison uses his super gauge u can go all out...unlike akuma he doesnt need his gauge to win plus he fight more aggressive
is this available on the psn? i've read that the psp version its on it, but im not sure about the ps3's... and i also read that that version has 34 characters...
The best way to beat Shin Akuma is you’d have be very fast, faster than him even. Match him blow for blow, analyze his fight pattern, keep up with his fight pattern and keep up the pace with him
@TheKOng2000 I did make a video against super bison. Made it during the same time i made this one. You'll just have to search for it to find it =D......was it more dramatic? It's up there......
is that on max difficulty?? i play shin akuma on turbo 2, max difficulty and this one looks desperate, like acidglow said before... anyway good fight! id like to fight u one of these days :)
Doesn't show "shin akuma" becuz yes, this is the japanese version, titled, "Street Fighter Zero 3". And yes, difficulty level is 8....and also yes, intentionally lost the 2nd round to make it dramatic. Why would i use a spinning roundhouse kick as shin akuma gets up? To "beatdown83", i would like to battle you....i haven't lost on console b4....but if ur gonna use "shin akuma" (like all ur videos show...u do)....then ill show u the real way, of how to use him, ill put in $300, let's go.
Lol no just one noticeable difference in game. Shin Akuma is a lot more powerful. He throws double fireballs downward too from above (Jump move). He also has a powerful special Fireball like Ryu's Flame Hadouken except it has purple flames. Basically he is a lot stronger and he can take more damage than regular Akuma. I think Shin means Angry in Japanese. He's the badass pissed off version of Akuma lol.
I lost the in the 2nd round on purpose, MagicianZero......gotta make it dramatic, u no what im saying? Chek out my other vidz, i always lose in the 2nd round.
nah shin means "perfect" or "God", its to show that he is at his true potential, shin akuma will hav the character "heaven/sky" on his back after hes done kicking your ass up n down the arena
oh ok, I thought that the increase in speed, damage and life was only for the AI (like how Seth's AI in SSF4 has twice the amount of life etc). Other iterations of Shin Akuma show him with more cosmetic differences aside from all the powers ups. I just got confused because Shin Akuma's name on the HUD of SF@3 doesn't change.
This Shin Akuma wasnt incredibly hard. He had a very, VERY predictable pattern. Sure he'll kick your ass a couple of times at first, but once you play him a few times, you'll be able to see right through it all. I agree with the previous statement on Capcom VS SNK2; the Shin akuma there was GODLY... and pretty damn annoying to defeat (not to mention U.Rugal...dualkicking bastard ¬__¬)
i didnt even watch the whole vid yet..but that opening combo with ken just proves ken is GOD!..reminds me when i use to bust shin akuma's ass..at first it was hard as hell..but after a while i would steam roll through this guy..just be patient and strike accordingly..ken is always the pioneer when defeating a hard opponent..then u slowly ease into using other characters to win
I must say that considering Shin Akuma’s place of battle or area of battle that the makers went a bit too far when they made this game. Jeez!! 🤦♂️🤦🏾♂️
i remember i got to Shin Akuma (I was playing with regular Akuma) i knocked him knocked him down....did Demons Rage.....but then Shin got up and did it 2 me!!! haha i was liek wtf......i still got him afterwards though but hes tough
now after watching the vid..the demon could have been totally avoided..u will never connect with that kick lol on shin akuma..but i like how u incorporated it a couple times..but anyway it was a hard fought battle..definitely a nice ending..Ken always beats up ryu in these SF openings but yet ken is always a "sometimer" in these crossup games..for example the travesty of not puting him in MVC3!!!!!!!!! people should die for that lol

Disagree, Shin Akuma in SFA3 is rather easy. If You fight him on SFA2 gold he is god compared to this
1:03 Shoryureppa > Tatsu
Tatsu stuffs the super
WAT
WUT
I think they're called alpha cancels. I think.
+Aggressive Attitude Era There are Alpha Counters in the game, in which you can burn meter for an instant knockdown, but it's not one of those - ACs can only reverse a blocked hit, not stuff an attack before it hits. Happens to me alot

You’re brave ! As soon as that beat drops, I start blocking!
one mistake fighting shin akuma and its all over for you
this brings back memories ahh this is my childhood!
I never beat him on hardest. Did anyone else's PS1 copy boot straight back to the beginning after losing? lol
zero 3, best fighting game ever!
Best shoryureppa voiced.

THATS A FACT MY MAN!
Gotta love akumas ferocity.

@@ReverseGuy I sure fucking wish I did.
alpha 2 version shin gouki is tougher if u fight him on the hardest difficulty and choose boss stage 2 in verses mode lol... trust me it feels almost impossible to beat him
15 years later youtube recommends me this video, I must say nice
@Zacurafire Shin Gouki's hair isn't primarily white in SSF2t, the Alpha series, the SF3 series and SSF4. It is in CvS2, CFE and SVC Chaos however.
This Shin Akuma isn't as hard as the one you fight when you go through arcade mode with Evil Ryu... Turbo 7 with max difficulty and he's a nightmare.
Reminds me of the fights i used to have against my brother.
Nice :)
Bison is crap once you know how he fights, shin akuma is harder by far.
I know you tight about that second round!!!
Probably, one of the best fights and one of the best players I've ever seen in this game. AWESOME!!!

yes buy it because its a great game, it has all the alphas and you will love this game.

good fight n theme music but i wanna know how u fight shin akuma with ken i keep beaten him with dark ryu ??
1:03 that reppa is damn close
terbaiklah pertandingan,❤❤❤
@pablopablobonilla Where did you discover this ?
good job finishing shin gouki with ken's signature move *thumbs up* just the way i finish my matches xD
Wow, you murdered him!! Took me like 4 trys to beat him o.o
*_Woao xD_*
Daaaamn!!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey which platform is the game on , psp , ps2 , Nintendo wii , or switch , I love this game and really want to play
That theme!!!!
Forward, Down, Forward-down (Diagonal) and 3 Punch Buttons. or Back, Down, Down-Back (Diagonal) and 3 Punch Buttons
Mastered this on the PS1 version. I miss it so much.
That was beast :O, also loved the finishing move.
Alpha sf for life! ✨🌟👊
the sprites tell me this is on ps1
This is still awesome!
Hhh we are in 2022 i'm still à big fan of this game
yea this guys real good and almost died...shows how hard Shin Akuma is...

Good luck with that s--t.
@@aggressiveattitudeera887 you don’t want to believe me? It’s true
@@SuperSoldier26 It's not that I don't believe you. I've done it. On both arcade and world tour mode. I just said good luck trying.
@@aggressiveattitudeera887 oh I see and thank you. I have been playing fighting video games all my life, so
Nice come back in R3. And I thought you said this was a expert match...
Badass! when you beat him is a playable character? Me and my friend Dan have been trying for weeks now. Still to no avail...
@TheKOng2000
I did make a video against super bison. Made it during the same time i made this one. You'll just have to search for it to find it =D......was it more dramatic? It's up there......
@reignman562 It's in the Playstation Store. :D
In House Of Characters United Kingdom, Akuma Is Gouki, Vega Is Balrog, M Bison Is Vega And Balrog Is Mike Bison
I have a friend who has yet to beat Shin Akuma with Evil Ryu do you have any tips? And also when you beat him does he become a playable character?
Yes he can be cheap, but that is why its so sweet when u beat him. I beat him with Vega more than half the time on gba.
This one made me rage so bad I broke my controller back in the days.
Great job...it's nice too see a video where the player actually puts the diffuculty level to max and still do well.
u should make a video fighting super bison...in my opinion he is harder than shin akuma because of his cheap super
The Attack from (Shin) Akuma on 0:40 how can i do that?
is that on max difficulty??
i play shin akuma on turbo 2, max difficulty and this one looks desperate, like acidglow said before...
anyway good fight!
id like to fight u one of these days :)
Ken's hurrican kick leaves him wide open in 3rd Strike. Probably moreso than in any other game. Not to mention it's parry bait.
Doesn't show "shin akuma" becuz yes, this is the japanese version, titled, "Street Fighter Zero 3". How did you manage to play against him with Ken, I remember to fight against him you have to choose Master Gen .
Can you explain please?
Lol no just one noticeable difference in game. Shin Akuma is a lot more powerful. He throws double fireballs downward too from above (Jump move). At 1:04 when he stops Ken's special how the hell did he do that?!?! Thats super cheap dude.
Yo is this the Sega Saturn or is PlayStation 2 port? It's deft one of the two
john smith
I'm betting PlayStation
Its the psp one.
He's a tough bastard but eventually I got good enough that he wasn't a problem.
How do you do the animas hadoken special?
S. Akuma went beastmode in round 2.
I lost the in the 2nd round on purpose, MagicianZero......gotta make it dramatic, u no what im saying? Chek out my other vidz, i always lose in the 2nd round.

This is not Shin Akuma but just Akuma. Shin Akuma have white hair and a purple dogi.
That is definitely Shin Akuma. You can tell by the music and the background of the stage.
bloody good job!

Damn i remember playing this. hard as hell, never beat em although i only got to play it for 1 day.
I always play with Shin Akuma but i prefer normal speed. This is like having 3 lines of crack sniffed
@KillerNanny
Me too!
It's really fun! xD
@tervehattara no see story wise alpha was before street fighter 2 and 4 and 3. 4 is after two and 3 is after four right now ryu is training with oro

It's not invincibility, it's priority. And Shin Akuma moves has priority over almost everything, that's why he is so f**king cheap.

can you do it with Dan?
ya I was wondering about that,Though IT looks like hes on level 2 or 3...
Yeah without that damned Pyscho Driver he cant fight for shit.
....correct me if I'm wrong....but isn't shin akuma's hair WHITE?
