Alisha Weir (Matilda) was recently in Abigail earlier this year and was excellent in it. She's also rumored to be playing Dorothy in Wicked part 2 next year!

Fuq yes! I sing these songs all the time. Weirdly enough singing "quiet" is one of the songs that helps calm me when I'm feeling anxious maybe cause it's a little complicated and keeps my mind focused remembering the words

This is my favorite movie of all time, so I have to click every time I find a new reactor watching it. I’ve said it a million times before, and I’ll say it again a million times: the end of this musical is a masterpiece. Miss Honey just watched the most talented child she’s met stand up to the most terrifying villain who has made her life a living hell, who she’s done her best to shield the children from but she can’t do enough, and this one child refuses to stand by while something wrong is happening, and does all she can to make things right, to stand up for those who can’t, and then after that, she watches this girl retreat into herself, saying “I can’t do anything about this, I have to go” and she realized exactly how much this girl fears her dad, and knew that if Matilda could get rid of Trunchbull, she could get rid of Mr. Wormwood. And then their faces when they look at each other and come to the realization that they’re both free, and that the person that set them free will love them unconditionally for their entire lives. The whole thing is a traumatized person’s dream. BRB, gonna go watch this movie again and cry

I fully believe that the reason Bruce was able to eat that whole cake was because Matilda was doing something with her powers. Look at her at 10:17 concentrating just SO HARD.

Speaking of musicals, I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on 2 recently released films: EMILIA PEREZ and also WICKED. Say what you will, but EMILIA PEREZ takes some wild swings.

One of my favorite random videos to come out of this movie is someone took the "Revolting Children" scene, and replaced the song with "Dragula" by Rob Zombie, and it oddly fits!

It’s amazing how he wrote something as wholesome as Matilda and some of the other titles in his repertoire.

I came across your channel through Heartstopper and you are so amazing, you really bring me joy and I swear I get that bit happier whenever I see you upload! I’d recommend if possible, for you to check out the play version of Matilda from Broadway/The West End as I love it, and I think you would too (you can see clips of it on RUclips) and I personally prefer it over this film. I did have to act in the play in Year 6 (when I was 10/11) but I think that it just makes me love it even more!

As amazing this movie is, there’s a fair amount they changed from the stage show which is also amazing. So if you ever get a chance you should listen to it.
