I swear that man has such a wildly different approach to the drum than the entire rest of the line can anyone explain why? It's just mildly irritating a wee little bit to my wee little brain please help help help help
@@quinnwalker1824 majority of the line either marches with Mandarins (same battery staff) or a corps with the flow-centric west coast influence. Ethan’s been marching velocity-based east coast lines since the turn of the decade, so I can only imagine coming to Monarch and having to adjust to the flow approach is pretty difficult.
These kids are some great performers. They really pulled it out of the crowd and that's an awesome feeling for them. You can tell they fed off the energy of the folks watching. Great job. Outstanding beats!!
@@zackman77 he's actually a really great guy. He's worked with my kids Drumline at Klein Cain in Spring Texas. And he's also a freaking amazing player.
@zackman77 The majority of everyone from the line come from a flow centric style west coast group Monarch (same staff as well). He has been at east coast velocity centric type style since the turn of the decade so it definitely will stick out but he is a dope guy and chill guy ironically lol.
