Every time I watch this I just want to explain how Phasmophobia works, but on the other hand it's more fun when they don't have any idea what to do (for example that just crouching in front of the ghost doesn't break it's line of sight and does in fact not save you). So I'm stuck between second hand embarassment and malicious joy 😅
Can I just suggest to at least read the journal? It tells you about cursed objects like the mirror and it tells you how to recognise ghost behaviours and how to use the tools. Also, play with Impulse to learn more. He's still a bit of a noob too, but he could teach you some things at least lol
He already played with Impulse and I think he forgot half the stuff he was told lol Tbf he did improve compared to how he played before, I think it's just that this group has a strong "mess around and read stuff later mentality"

The cursed mirror has a chance to spawn. If you use it you’ll find the ghost room (room where ghost is found most), but your sanity will go down by a lot, making it much harder to play the game.
