Paris is lovely, you just have to have the perspective that it has a culture, understand the hustory and realise it's not just for tourist, millions of people live there
I was born in Paris and lived there for 14 years. 90 % of Parisians I have spoken to told me if they could leave the city and move elsewhere they would. This tells you all you need to know about the state of Paris. Btw it was literally voted the RUDEST city in a survey a few years ago. To be clear it’s a very beautiful city with very rich culture and History, but there is no denying that it’s very dirty and the people are particularly unpleasant, even by big city standards!
It's like Los Angeles where you first thought many of its places will look so celebrity-like but then many of the streets are so sketchy after you touch down

You went to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, and then you saw the Eiffel Tower. Why are you complaining? I studied abroad in Paris and the food was amazing and the nightlife was really fun. I would go back to that time in my life in a heartbeat.

In Paris there is the mirror effect. You get what you give. No, my dear friend, let us not be swayed by mere images, for Paris, though picturesque, stands as a bastion of overvaluation. Instead, let us turn our gaze towards Buenos Aires in Argentina, a city that encapsulates not only the essence of French architecture but also the epitome of culinary excellence, showcasing the finest meats and wines known to humankind. It is with profound regret that I witness the undue accolades heaped upon Paris, overshadowing the unparalleled splendor of Buenos Aires.
