My Mrs spotted you and Nong Nuy out in Jomtiem and came home to say, quote " Husband, Nong Nuy is one happy lady, same me - I can see her eye and eye never lie". You and me are blessed mate. I know you have offered before, but if we spot you 2 out and about with the camera we wont intrude - private time together is priceless. My Mrs laughs on them occasions where Nong Nuy starts that sharp inhale that they do when its mega spicy but they refuse to give in to the pain lol. Sadly we have had to leave our apartment round the corner from you for the time being as her dad is very ill and so is my mum, so I have to bail out back to Wales while she goes back up north. Next Friday we do a Pattaya iconic restaurant "Kiss Food" so very cheap and cheerful. If you or your wife have any favourite places that we haven't visited yet just let me know. Lastly, if you see us out and about, come over, if only you, Nong will be a bit quiet, as she worries about her English levels, if your missus is there she will take away, she has several FC's (as she calls them) visit her at the shop. Food looked great and well presented. The slow service would be annoying but something you come to expect in Thailand when they are busy. Not the cheapest for sure, but lovely setting and definitely on for the list.
The food service was ok Keef, just it's life they completely forgot the drinks, when they did come (a coke and a water) they were still 5 minutes apart. 🙏🙏

Not a very exciting story Kris, I left school at 16, with 7 o'levels as they were called then. Went into the Royal Air Force as a boy entrant, becoming a Aircraft Technician Propulsion. Is left the airforce in 86, helping my parents in their hotel until 1988. Moving over to Saudi Arabia to train engineers in the Royal Saudi Airforce. After the first part of the Gulf War I came back to the UK (Perthshire) in 1991. Started working as a Financial Advisor for a home service company called Pearl Assurance. I fairly quickly became a sales manager, then training and compliance manager. Finishing my career with them in 2004 as a District Manager. During my time with Pearl I also developed 5 new build properties. I had also managed between 1978 and 2004 to go through two marriages and have 3 children, aged between 26 and 42. Pearl closed its doors and I managed to secure a position with HBoS as an Inheritance Tax Advisor. During my time in Financial Services I was putting a significant amount away in my retirement plans. In 2011 I had decided that retirement for me was going to be in Thailand where I had been going on Holiday since 1993, so I purchased a 1 bed condo on Pratumnak Soi 6. Early 2012, my brother, who was already in Pattaya took seriously ill, I decided then to sell up in the UK to come here to keep an eye on him. I met the lovely Nong Nuy in 2013 and buying little Friday in 2017. My Mum also decided to move to Pattaya back in 2018 and stays in the same condo building as myself. I spend my days, taking care of the family, editing and replying to comments. The odd game of pool in the local bar and overall am grateful to have the lifestyle I have with the people around me. So, to answer your question, probably regular funding to my retirement plans, made possible by the small mortgages I had due to self building 5 properties. I live a fairly frugal life in Pattaya, but I wouldn't change it for anything. 🙏🙏

The normal menu is proper sizes Phil, only the 3 specials are built for sharing. My Mum pretty much managed all her fish and chips 🙏🙏
