November 2023. I saw some gorgeous jewelry today. Beautiful artist pieces worth $$$. Then I thought about all the jewelry I already have and don't wear very often. Fashions change. I'll see what I can find second-hand. Tina, Al's wife
Any books that have been in open boxes are not safe to keep. It's impossible to remove mold on paper items. I highly recommend hiring a mold specialist to come in and remove the mold. They might even have to spray inside the duct work. Once the mold is gone,, a dehumidifier will keep your basement dry. I wouldn't buy one until the mold has been dealt with because the mold spores will get into the dehumidifier Great job once again ❤
Do a Konmari of your Christmas stuff maybe in November, so you know everything that you have so you don’t feel compelled to buy more, and for donating and selling on FB you will be more likely to get them into new hands.
Take a second to appreciate that you have decluttered from one corner to another corner. You have done 1/3 of the basement! I get so excited for your progress. How excited is your family for you?
I would argue the toy catalog is worth keeping IF it means its easier to let go of the actual toys from that time. It would take up far less space and actually be something you could look over vs the toys which could be used by other children but are being stored.
I don’t know about mold and paper, but I do enjoy scrapbooking and 📔 journaling. Basically, if for paper and pictures I value keeping, look 👀 for acid free sheet protectors. I basically use a labeled binder with supplies and what I value keeping in sheet protectors. I’m not done, but at least I know what means something to me is being taken care of until I can put my family albums in their final copy. Eventually I value having a hard copy and a digital copy that we give to each of our grown children. If you do have concerns about the paper, maybe take a picture of each page you value keeping and put that in sheet protectors in a binder. That way your concerns about mold will be gone, but you can see and “almost hold” the original.
I was thinking since you are someone that journals, maybe you could clip some pictures out of that little catalog and glue them into one of your journals.
Our basement walls were horrible when we bought our place. We used a shop vac with a filter system to clean the surface crud off. Then we got some mold and mildew spray from Lowe's. After we got the walls and floors clean we painted the walls with drylock. So far it has been 3 years and no problems whatsoever. I hope that information helps. Love your progress. Keep up the great work my sweet friend.
My dad and i do small plumbing jobs and we deal with mold. Buy CONCENRATED clorox and a spray bottle. Do equal parts water and clorox and a squirt of dish soap. The formula stays active for 2hrs make what ur going to use. Its gets rid of mold in 5min.
Bleach alternatives are alcohols eg methylated spirits, ethanol, isopropyl but these also smell in the high concentrations needed to kill that level of mould. Get it professionally cleaned then maintain with white vinegar which can be used pure on small amounts of mould or diluted for regular moping / cleaning.
I have 3 fall/winter small stuffed bears. I just put my heavy winter mittens and scarves away. It sometimes snows after Easter, but it never sticks. Tina, Al's wife
I hope this helps because I don't want to do harm. When I was in my early twenties I lost 3 very close family members all around the same time from one thing or another. Initially I wanted to keep almost everything as sentimental reminders. I soon realized that would be impossible do to the amounts or things so I asked myself if there was a fire and I only had moments to take the most important charest idem from each loved one what would that select few things be. The point for me was that even though I loved the person and many things brought happy and loving memories I can't make everything sentiment object because it steals the power of the things that really matter!
I so look forward to watching your videos, because your progress is so evident and your courage is inspiring. I am all too familiar with panic attacks and anxiety. The more I’ve used my coping skills, the more my panic attacks have subsided. I appreciate your example about hoarding using depression. The panic and anxiety are related to ongoing depression since childhood. And you’re right , people with depression can’t “just be happy.” It takes work, just like you’re doing. Love and hugs to you🤗🙏🏻💖
Yippee another corner cleared 👏👏👏 I’m getting excited for your garage/yard sale. Take a bow 🙇♀️ you did amazing especially with all the sentimental stuff. You will deal with it when you can deal with it and there’s no need to apologise for it either. Your explanation for hoarding is brilliant. As always thanks for letting us be part of your journey and keeping us motivated too. Stay safe and healthy, Joes wife Mary 👏👍🙏💖💐🦄
Donating to a variety of charities makes things harder for you. I volunteered for years at a charity and if they think something would be better somewhere else they pass it on. Just thinking of a past video when you still had crocheted items which can be donated anywhere. Please don't get caught up in finding the perfect charity. Your guinea pig cage should probably be tossed. Take care!
Sheesh, the amount of well-meant home remedies are sweet but dangerous. Hey Miss Heart. Please let a professional in for the mold-project. That’s your family’s health you’re dealing with and mold is tricky. Great effort and great job in getting the basement so far! There’s someone over here in Germany who‘s rooting for you from an ocean away 👏🏻☀️
Yes, if it was easy to not hoard, then of course you would not do it! My daughter suffered a mental disorder, and I did learn a lot from her. She is fully recovered and so wise and beautiful from the experience. I understand how hard it is to explain to others how your mind plays such tricks on you, and thank you for your grace and positive vibes. You can recover, it is hard work but I can tell you have stared the journey, and you have overcome so much to get where you are. Anxiety will always pop up it’s head, but you are learning to acknowledge it, live with it and not let it hold you back from your good decisions. ❤️🤩
If you have old books and catalogues you could put them on a book shelf and organize it. It could be really cute and take up less space then bins. You could also use a magazine folder on the bookshelf to hold the catalogues. You could also use those cardboard magazine holders to hold some of your children’s artworks or papers. Label it and it’s super cute but you could go back and look at it. Then it would take up sooo much less space.
I have very little. My mother hoarded trash. I keep silica gel drying packets everywhere. I keep one small box for each hobby. We live in a 2BR condo near Chicago. One small storage space. Get rid of junk mail every day. Tina
I saved the Playmobil catalogues from when my kids were young. They don’t take up much room and I still enjoy looking at all the sets. You have gotten rid of so much and continue to do so. Allow yourself some grace. I now find myself saying tossy tossy when I declutter.
Good job getting rid of stuff! Baby steps move you forward. I suggest you bring the garbage directly out to the bin and put things in the car for donations. Then things will be less likely to end back up in the basement. Good Luck!
I’m not a hoarder but I have stuff stashed in boxes cause they need a home. Right now I’m working through clothes. My daughter gave me all the clothes my grandson’s have out grown. I’m getting them all sorted into bins marked with the sizes. Then I will post online to be sold. I have been feeling over whelmed lately so like you I’m doing a bit at a time. Today I emptied my dresser went through my clothes and got rid of the stuff that is to big on me. I vacuumed out the drawers and organized what I was keeping. I posted items online and have sold a few things. Tomorrow I will do my 2 nightstand drawers. Thanks for the videos they are so helpful. You’ve come a long way Miss ♥️ Keep it up!!!
Hubby may have to help you with the mold. It really does need to be cleaned with something strong that may give you a headache. Or maybe If your yard sale goes well enough you could hire a company that does mold remediation.
I want to thank you for explaining your disorder so well. I've never understood hoarders (I'm a clean freak), but I do have depression and anxiety and I immediately recognized the similarities you were making and how you struggle with it. I think I've gained a better appreciation for a hoarder's struggle and can be more mindful in the future when conversing with someone with this disorder. I wish you well on your journey. 🙂
Thank you my friend ❤️🙏🏻❤️ Your message is my “Why” for explaining the disorder. When people understand it, feel compassion for others...and hoarders start to feel accepted. When people feel accepted, they seek help to healing in their hoarding ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Hi there🤗 You made me laugh when you said you had 2014 coupons , because a week ago I cleared an area in front of my dresser and I found coupons with 2014 on them too. I had to laugh!😄
Great job I watched several episodes of "Hoarders" show on RUclips then washed and took about a dozen things to a donation center. I was happy about "tossy tossy"-- I picked up your wording too! They were mostly things I had identified as being easy to part with but still had to get them ready and drop off as I was procrastinating. It's nice to have the company of you and your subscribers to be happy for each others successes.
I read somewhere that bleach only kills surface mold on hard surfaces. Porous surfaces like walls should be cleaned with vinegar or hydrogen peroxide. I think I might have read baking soda and vinegar as an option too.
There looks like mold will be all over the basement in that pattern, and to be honest, I would clean all around the walls of stuff with biohazard and call a professional company. They will set up a safe zone and clean it. I would not mess with it.
I like the thought 💭 of professional help, just for peace of mind, your family’s future and for your house 🏡 investment. Before doing anything, I would study 📖 the topic very well. Make a list of options, prioritize what you prefer. Keep in mind, sometimes saving and doing the most expensive thing is the cheapest and best quality in the long run. That’s part of why I recommend studying the topic well first. Glad you care and are stopping it now.
Thank you! We have hoarders in the family and we're trying to help them so this really helps me understand them better. They've slowly started letting go. I don't think we can support them if we don't get what they're going through. I also have depression and anxiety but mine manifests in the opposite way - I'm super clean, organised and minimal. So I kind of get how it can get too much (not to much stuff bit but whatever is taken to extremes). So thanks again for helping through sharing your experience! You are doing wonderfully and you are so strong!
Dear girl I just wanted to thank you 💖 You have inspired me so much to go through my hoarded basement. I am more of a minimalist than a hoarder, but my father-in-law definitely has hoarding tendencies. Since I now need to use the basement to store my kids bikes trough winter, I have to make space for them. Working on this space has given me so much anxiety that I have been avoiding it for years. I was planning to go through it KonMari style and I just couldn't find a whole 1-2 days for that project, and couple of people willing to help. But since I found this channel I realized I can do and hour a week and clean small sections at a time. So thankful for your channel 💞 You are amazing 🦄
So happy you have that corner done!🙌 Can’t wait to see the next section of the basement😊❤️ When you go through your Xmas stuff, sort them into bins and take few at a time. It’ll be too overwhelming to do them all at once. I don’t know what categories you would have, but maybe “tree ornaments”, “wall decorations”, “figurines”, “lights” etc... I don’t know if you have books, stationeries, toys, kitchen, clothes, miscellaneous... whatever the categories are, just group them and go through a little at a time😊 That way you get to see how much of what you have, and compare and pick out your favorites.
If you can let go of the things that don’t sell at your fall yard sale. Then you can start your new journey of discovering new items for another yard sale maybe in the Spring. Just a thought. 💕
You can use concrobrium mold control that also helps prevent the growth but You have to fix the ventilation problem because it's just going to come back after some time
You need CONCROBIUM!!! I seen Melissa Maker use it but then our daughter broke our garage door. It was broken majority of the summer we live in KY and we ended up with mold all in our garage. Bleach doesn't kill mold on porous surfaces. Spray Concrobium on it kills the mold spores, and it will also prevent it from coming BACK!! You can pick it up a Lowe's best stuff ever!! Non toxic epa approved made of water and food grade inorganic salts. ❤️
Keep the catalog without guilt. You can revisit your decision in years to come when you are ready. Amazing progress! Your persistence is incredible. This 15 minutes regular habit is really incredible. I've started reading Atomic Habits (some good RUclips videos on the concept) and the thing is, this is what you and I have been doing, reshaping our systems to reach our long-term goals. We don't just areive at where we want to be; we have to develop our methods to get there in a series of steps taken regularly. And one day, perhaps, we will look around and see that we have accomplished our old goals and placed new goals further out on the path ahead of us. 45%+ vinegar might work?...but it's a strong acid and harsh smelling. Normal cleaning vinegar is like...5 to 7 % concentration
My basement has gotten bad again. I can't deal with it until after the wedding. Friday! Then I can't work on it too often until the weather gets bad. I'm so glad you're selling things! That's so great!
After much research, we used Concrobium Mold Control spray. It was very effective. For areas like the window frames, where they can get moist in winter, I have used Thieves Household cleaner, with amazing results. (no mildew forming in winter!) Both products are non-toxic and safe to use. I also wanted to mention (sorry, I know this is a no-fun topic) that old Tupperware may have lead and other toxins, not the new Tupperware. Also old children' toys. I encourage you to research a bit on this. I have been really disappointed to find out about older dishes having lead in them, and sometimes other heavy metals. It brings a new point of view for me about keeping and using some of these things. There is a lead tester from Amazon, also doing a search brings up a lot. Corelle recommends using its pre-2005 dishes for decoration only. Congrats on getting your corner cleared there!
you are doing awesome. dealing w/ hoarding reminds me of overeating and dealing with that. An over eater many times knows it's not good for them, they hate being overweight and usually they don't even enjoy eating (partially due to guilt) but they continue to do so... when they have to address it ... it's not just as simple as "are you hungry?" there are other things that are compelling them to eat.
When’s the yard sale? Also can’t wait to see more KonMarie with the baby toys! Your basement is looking great!!! Well done lovely lady! Rooting for you from UK!
Great idea to leave the children's toys together. You are doing such a great job of sorting things into categories, so you can come back later and just deal with one section at a time. Like when you put out the Christmas decorations out, you can look at all the things that don't get put out and see if you can release any of them
weirdly you can clean some metals with ketchup! it works great. i think with mold unfortunately bleach is the way to go - you can dilute it so the smell isn't as potent and maybe turn on a fan while it dries out, but you definitely need the chemicals to kill the mold. you could look into pressure washing but since it's indoors its harder. i'd probably make a spray bottle up with diluted bleach and go down and spray all the affected areas, and then just come back upstairs and let the solution work and kill the mold, then after 30 min go back down and make up a bucket of warm water and dish soap and scrub all the affected areas with a brush until it comes clean
If I got my hands on a Sears Christmas catalogue I would keep it, buy it..... you are doing fabulously. Keep want you want and you can go back....it's a journey...xxxooo
Love what you did with those sweet little apples!😍Another fabulous job!! I really admired how you were able to recognize what boxes were sentimental and would have overwhelmed you if you had gone through them. Instead, you put them aside for when you felt stronger and then continued on with the decluttering. I have to learn how to do that.. We had mold in our basement too. We did use bleach to remove it(We have lots of ventilation) , then we painted it with mold free paint. That stuff is amazing! It's 10 years later and we still haven't gotten any mold back.
Pitched two not-donatable pairs of shoes, one ratty t-shirt and one faded nightie. Trash night tonight, so always go through my space. We went to the always open recycling center this morning but the Eco one is county owned, so we must wait til tomorrow to take in the yard trim. Great work! I am so proud of you! I like the bit of curl in your hair. Spray hydrogen peroxide, No lingering odor! Better than clorox. Love the apples in the jar, too. When dry, use Kilz paint
I can understand keeping the magazine. It's just reminded me of when I used to have this lego catalogue when I was little, I can remember the feeling of excitement looking through it over and over thinking about which one I'd ask for for Christmas. If I still had it I'd keep hold of it. I'm sure you have some attachment to the feelings of excitedly choosing toys for your kids when they were little. It's a small thing to keep and it might even make it easier letting go of some of the actual toys when the time comes
Good job! You can use a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar. Spray on mold and leave it over night. Wash with soapy water or soapy water and baking soda the next day. Keep up your good work!
I've always been told that bleach gets rid of mold on nonporous surfaces, but vinegar works on porous surfaces. Also, vinegar may not get rid of the mold stain (but will kill the mold).
Don't know if it will be a department or hardware store, but I think silver polish should do the trick for the old jewellery box. I used to volunteer at a charity shop and sometimes we got old boxes like that or candelabras we used the polish on.
I agree with the others who say talk to a mold remediation expert. They can set up the proper ventilation and look at why you are having water in the basement. All the papers you have down here can be infected and could make all of you sick. Baking soda is a great silver cleaner.
For the tarnished silver I have watched videos that they use the barkeeper's friends cream and a microfiber cloth and it cleans it up so well! You are doing awesome with decluttering!
No, no, no! Not Barkeeper's Friend, or ANY chemical/physical abrasive! Barkeeper's Friend is for stainless steel, which is a much harder metal. Silver is very soft. And none of those "hacks", like aluminum foil in hot water. They do remove tarnish, but are hard on the silver. Even a good-sized grocery store will likely sell an actual silver polish; if not there than Amazon. "Wright's" and "Weiman" are what we've always used; neither are expensive. You're correct about the microfiber cloth, though - it's very non-abrasive. After polishing, you can store the item with an anti-tarnish paper strip or in anti-tarnish cloth. Or leave it out & enjoy! A quick wipe with a clean microfiber cloth once a week or so will minimize any tarnishing. Tarnish happens when silver chemically bonds with sulfur, which is in the air. Wiping it down dry (buffing) helps keep the sulfur from accumulating. You may still have to polish once a year or so, depending, but polishing only takes a few minutes.
I get emotionally attached to my kids' toys and clothes too. Sentimental things like that are so hard to part with! One thing that helps me is if we can give them to a family member or friend with kids and can actually SEE them being used by another child. I have given tons of my son's baby/toddler clothes to a friend who has 2 younger boys and it makes me so happy when I see her photos on Facebook of her boys wearing my son's clothes.
Well done, Ms Heart! I have no experience with mold, but I think I would ask an expert and at the same time fix the problem with the outside wall (?) where the water can leak in from time to time. It would be well spent money from the savings cushion! Good luck! And great job with the decluttering, looking forward to the yard sale!
I dont think mold like that would be easy to get rid of with out some kind of chemical as you would wanna make sure its GONE GONE but maybe with more scrubbing you could get vinager, lemon and baking soda to work with a good scrub brush. Also the further you get down there prep yourself for the more heart strings that your going to find if something pulls to hard, in order to not lose your momentum and stop move on and just go to something else and come back later.
For the walls.. I would try mixing vinegar water and baking soda....not sure of the ratio but I'm sure you could look it up, and some good old elbow grease. Get you a nice rough scrub brush and some rubber gloves and go to town and then once you have scrubbed it try a Mr clean magic eraser to get any stain ed areas.... I swear by those erasers they work wonderful sometimes they do get a little bit saturated and just loosen the dirt so you may have to wipe it with the eraser and then spray it down again with vinegar water to get the residue but it usually does a great job loosening up the dirt.
I understand the catalog. It brings up emotions, that you aren't sure anything else will, so you can't get rid of it. Which is why just organizing like with like is so helpful. So that when you go through it you can be 'these 3 things all spark the same emotion, so I can give up at least one of them'. I think that is where we are going to see a real change with your decluttering.
I am so so proud of you Mrs heart 👏👏👏❤❤❤ and I want to tell you that you do a very good and great job today also I want to suggest you can keep the candles because the mold was from outside not touching the bag from inside and finally you must use bleach with water and leave it for 15 or 20 minutes and wash the wall with after that It is the perfect way to remove it and I wish you happy day lovely 🌹🌹🌹💝💝💝
Vinegar and baking soda a few drops of dawn mix and use also you might like an essential oil to drop in the water pick one that's your favorite scent and your basement will smell amazing. BLESSINGS
well done! just focus on things you can easy get rid off and avoid everything related to toddlers. It is triggering your pain center in your brain. So you do well to avoid it and to focus instead on a positive experience, like to see the floor, or to get space and freedom.
I think Legos are a good toy to keep around even when your kids have outgrown them. When a grandchild or a someone's children stops by, i pull out the bin and it keeps them entertained for hours. I think it's a classic and both boys and girls like them. If you want to sell them, they sell for quite a bit these days. You can check eBay to see how much generally they are getting.
D My son took all his old Lego that was in my cellar(basement) home during lockdown and him and his partner enjoyed playing with it for months then sold it to buy different ones, they are 29 lol😃😛
I clean silver jewelry by putting it in a glass dish lined with aluminum foil. I then put in the jewelry and sprinkle in some baking soda and pour hot water over it. The foil, baking soda and water have a reaction that causes the tarnish to go away. However, its easy for it to become tarnished again with this method so you may want to get some anti-tarnish wipes.
I would have hubby load up a bug or weed sprayer and do a bleach water mix, have him spray and let it sit for a few days. The bleach will dissipate and kill the mold and you won’t have to be down there.
I haven't watched all your videos; possibly you have one but I recommending buying a super-fast photo scanner & store the images in the cloud. This may lead to digital clutter but it's going to be a lot easier to find and enjoy photos, the catalog, etc. I also took photos of the sentimental items I had stored in bins and now that I have them in photo, I see and enjoy them a lot more. Taking a photo made it easier for me to let go.
I should add I paid for the scanner using the spare change I found around my house while decluttering. I used the Coinstar machine @ the grocery store; when getting an Amazon gift card from the machine, there was no fee to exchange the coins.
You did really great today. White Vineager should do the trick on the walls. And that old toy Commercial papper is very Halloween theme on that front side so how about put it in one of all the frames you had and put it out as Halloween decor and then maybe you want to let it go after this season and if not keep it for next Halloween 🕷💖😘🤗💕
Vinegar will take it off....use straight vinegar...dont water it down...put it in a spray bottle and spray the molded area real good and let it set for about an hr and then go back and wipe it away....the smell from the vinegar shouldnt last to awful long.
Could hubby do the bleach washing and you just stay out of there for a week to let it air out? Work on the garage, master bedroom, organize food in the pantry etc? What did you decide on the toy catalog? Now that there's some space to move around down there, is there a plan to try and stop the water from getting in?
"Woo Hoo!!" You are a great cheerleader to yourself!!!

So happy you have that corner done!🙌 Can’t wait to see the next section of the basement😊❤️
When you go through your Xmas stuff, sort them into bins and take few at a time.
Keep putting like with like, then you will be able to select how much gets to stay. You are doing amazing!
Your doing so well 👍 when are you having your yard sale.. Imagine the space you will have when you sell things. 💜
If you can let go of the things that don’t sell at your fall yard sale. Then you can start your new journey of discovering new items for another yard sale maybe in the Spring. Just a thought. 💕
You can use concrobrium mold control that also helps prevent the growth but You have to fix the ventilation problem because it's just going to come back after some time
I’d recommend waiting til after Christmas to declutter Christmas stuff, that way you’ll know what you used and what you didn’t want to put out!
The apples in the glass dish. Beautiful
Love the apples in the jar! Great job on tackling that corner ❤️
My basement has gotten bad again. I can't deal with it until after the wedding. Friday! Then I can't work on it too often until the weather gets bad. I'm so glad you're selling things! That's so great!
I am also proud of you!!!!!! Lots of love from Sweden
Im not sure if I ever needed one of your videos more than at this moment. Thank you for uploading and lifting my spirit
you are doing awesome. dealing w/ hoarding reminds me of overeating and dealing with that.
Lots of tossy tossy today, you did good 💕
Don't worry about sentimental items for now.
Great idea to leave the children's toys together. You are doing such a great job of sorting things into categories, so you can come back later and just deal with one section at a time. Like when you put out the Christmas decorations out, you can look at all the things that don't get put out and see if you can release any of them
Man, I just watched this yesterday and here I am wishing another one would come out today! Miss Heart is just one person! Simmer down, me!
Keep up the excellent work you are doing and ignore the people who can’t understand what you deal with on a regular basis.
weirdly you can clean some metals with ketchup! it works great. i think with mold unfortunately bleach is the way to go - you can dilute it so the smell isn't as potent and maybe turn on a fan while it dries out, but you definitely need the chemicals to kill the mold. you could look into pressure washing but since it's indoors its harder. i'd probably make a spray bottle up with diluted bleach and go down and spray all the affected areas, and then just come back upstairs and let the solution work and kill the mold, then after 30 min go back down and make up a bucket of warm water and dish soap and scrub all the affected areas with a brush until it comes clean
Bleach doesn't kill mold on porous surface. You will need special mold cleaners or you can use undiluted white vinegar with essential tea tree oil.
Perfect Monday Motivation 💜 keep going lovely. Your doing amazing 🥰😍
Thank you so so much 💜🦄💜
If I got my hands on a Sears Christmas catalogue I would keep it, buy it..... you are doing fabulously.
You are doing so great!!! Keep going.!!! I'll be cheering you on from Malaysia.
My daughter was surprised how many candles I had in my hoard that she could use for her wedding! Haha
that is one of my weak points! i had 3 cabinets now down to 3/4 of one! been on a no spend for candles for 2 years!
@@roseannj12 way to go! I'm going to reduce what I have by a lot. Less stuff. Less money. More time. More fun.
Candles nicely wrapped are great (Christmas) gifts. That way the no spend on candles will save you even more money. 😉
You look so pretty today!!!! Love your positivity and the motivation and love you’re spreading with these videos!! Purge sisters!!! ✊🏻💕
Lots of yard sale stuff this time. I hope you have a really successful sale!
You are doing soooooo good! As long as you are proud of yourself that’s all that matter. Great job! Remember baby steps its a process.👍
You are so strong! Look how much you did despite the sentimental!! I'm so stinking proud of you and I know you are too! You should be!
Love these videos! That’s a nice corner you cleared there!
I am so so proud of you Mrs heart 👏👏👏❤❤❤ and I want to tell you that you do a very good and great job today also I want to suggest you can keep the candles because the mold was from outside not touching the bag from inside and finally you must use bleach with water and leave it for 15 or 20 minutes and wash the wall with after that
It is the perfect way to remove it and I wish you happy day lovely 🌹🌹🌹💝💝💝
I meant wash with water after that
You can put few drops of dawn or and liquid soup with bleach and water and you can put mask to avoid smelling it
Vinegar and baking soda a few drops of dawn mix and use also you might like an essential oil to drop in the water pick one that's your favorite scent and your basement will smell amazing. BLESSINGS
well done! just focus on things you can easy get rid off and avoid everything related to toddlers. It is triggering your pain center in your brain. So you do well to avoid it and to focus instead on a positive experience, like to see the floor, or to get space and freedom.
You are my heart healer💜
I think Legos are a good toy to keep around even when your kids have outgrown them. When a grandchild or a someone's children stops by, i pull out the bin and it keeps them entertained for hours. I think it's a classic and both boys and girls like them. If you want to sell them, they sell for quite a bit these days. You can check eBay to see how much generally they are getting.
D My son took all his old Lego that was in my cellar(basement) home during lockdown and him and his partner enjoyed playing with it for months then sold it to buy different ones, they are 29 lol😃😛
Cathy Blackhall Love it! You’re never too old for legos!
Yeah!! A corner!! You should do something to celebrate!! 🌈🎂🎊🎉🎏💞
I cleaned mine with white vinegar, then I painted over it (the chemicals of the paint helped with the rest)
After you clean the wall, try drylock sealer. It is a very thick paint, it will help to seal the walls.
Vinegar kills mould! It really does. Once you have cleaned it, spray more vinegar onto it and let it dry to kill any remaining spores.
I always get so excited to see your videos
Hooray!! You are the Unicorn of the Day 💜🦄💜🦄
@@ahoardersheart Thank you Mrs heart
You did great girl congratulations keep up the hard work 💜
I would have hubby load up a bug or weed sprayer and do a bleach water mix, have him spray and let it sit for a few days.
Yes, a chritmas konmari! But do it early, like at the start of November so you don't need to rush it for christmas nor feel urge to buy anything new.
Thank you for sharing your journey you have made incredible progress :) you keep me motivated with my own decluttering too!
Good episode! Hope you can give it a good clean in next episode. I'm ancious to see a new yard sale!
Just 2 days ago i thought about some clothing a did let go. Now i think i need it. It's so hard even when things are gone.
I have a yard sale Saturday you are insping me.
those apples would look cute on your tiered tray in your kitchen!
What a great episode ❤️ there were a lot of sentimental items and that is ok too :) yuhu for the tossy tossy!
Look online about cleaning mould with white vinegar, I’ve read some different articles about it. Love seeing your progress 🦄💕😍
Please record the yard sale again! 🦸♀️
Could hubby do the bleach washing and you just stay out of there for a week to let it air out? Work on the garage, master bedroom, organize food in the pantry etc?
What did you decide on the toy catalog?
Now that there's some space to move around down there, is there a plan to try and stop the water from getting in?
Great ideas! :)
