As an American I still don’t like Sloane Steven’s - doesn’t seem very nice and doesn’t always try too hard.
How do you come to the conclusion that she's "not very nice", beloved?? She literally plays her game, speaks when she needs to and goes about her life? This is such a strange thing to say about someone who is so unproblematic.
Saying she "doesn't try too hard" is also your way of calling her lazy and that's an awful thing to say. I'm pretty sure her not "trying too hard" is also what won her a grand slam.

Almost the same as Rybakina, with the way of playing that almost doesn't change, Pliskova is nobody without the hard service.. Both of 'em are boring.
