You make many good points, I liked your video. :) I agree with most of your points, but I did not hate the book. I mean, there’s so much wrong with it. Feyre has the healing powers of a high lord but nothing can be done? Even with lots of things like that, I was still very entertained by the book and charmed by the main relationship.
Oh, I hated this book so much! Few things aggravate me on the same level as Game Of Thrones season 8. And A Court Of Silver Flames was one of them. I paid so much for my copy that I'm just going to gesso over each page and use it for gouache paintings, and redecorate the cover. I loved this series, minus ACOFAS novella. But now..... I can't think about it without getting a stomach ache.
OOOOOO comparing it to GOT season 8 now that's serious. Wait that sounds like an amazing way to use your copy! Make it a better piece of art than it is. (Maybe calling it art as it is is a bit of a stretch though...) Yeah I'm trying really hard to keep this book from tainting the rest of the series for me. I hold the first three near and dear because of the time in my life I was reading them for the first time. There are so many memories wrapped up in them, more so than most books I read. I'll probably read the next one in the series but wow are my expectations lowered and I'm very afraid of what it might do to my old love for these books.

The mate thing is terrible ugh. So much more valuable for two people to *create* a mate bond. You should have to earn it.
