Very helpful, thank you. We want to upgrade our double to a superking but live in a victorian property with narrow stairs..zip and link would actually give us the luxury aspect without the hassle.
Hi there can I ask what the minimum comfortable width would be? Would 150cm be okay (so 2x75cm when twin room set up) or is that too small for a single bed? Thanks!
Hi John - Do you do zip and link for a standard 4'6" frame? Also, are these good if one partner fidgets a lot at night as my wife is a light sleeper and keeps me awake tossing and turning ? Many thanks
Hi. We only do zip and links in Kingsize mattresses and above unless a bespoke order. Zip and links to greatly reduce transference from fidgety sleepers though and can help improve your sleep if you get frequently disturbed. Why not give our team a shout for some more help on info@johnryanbydesign.co.uk. Sleep well! John & Ryan.
Someone’s not being honest here. We’ve just returned a igel 4400 advance (zip and link). Reasons being 1) the two mattresses were misaligned top to bottom by around 50mm. 2) the ridge/gap between the two mattresses was so pronounced that you could see it even with a duvet on. I would never recommend them to anyone except as a last resort where comfort and aesthetics were not a consideration. Probably why hotels like them is they can convert two singles into a double with no extra cost but charge more.

I weigh double what my wife does, so we were pointed towards a zip and link with one side medium and one side firm. Looking forward to it arriving!

I regretted getting a zip linked mattress as I can feel this gap and it’s extremely annoying. Absolutely hate it
Same here! Im looking for a mattress bridge that works. It also dips in the middle
These dip in the middle
A well made zip and link with edge support allround won't dip in the middle. Sleep tight. John & Ryan
