I was on the Kop in 1983 when the ICF left the anfield road end early and waited round the back of the Kop. We were only teenagers and it was a scary occasion. We got as far as Bala Street and were confront by a hundred or more West Ham crew. There were more of us but it was just dads with kids. They charged us and bricks rained down upon us. Somebody organised us and we turned and charged the Londoners. My mate ended up with a broken hand and I found it to be the most shocking football event ever.
The match...Liverpool won 3-0 and Billy bonds scored an own goal, for those who can remember being there.

Yeah - I was there. First time I'd seen a West Ham crew at Anfield. The Ice Cream Firm clearly waited for the Anfield Road End to become all-seater before making their belated, overdue visit. Never showed in the days when that part of the ground was a terraced rat-run.

First time I went to Liverpool was in 1967. We had a right back playing for the Hammers called John Charles who was mixed race, and I think the only black player in Div 1 at that time. For the entire 90 minutes every time he had the ball a cacophony of monkey choices was heard from every part of the ground. Most teams had people doing this, but these were a tiny minority of morons behind the goal. Everyone in that ground seemed to be a moron that day. Imagine being in John Charles shoes at Anfield. London mayor, the odious Sadiq Khan says he supports Liverpool because the London fans are racist. What a joke, he started supporting Liverpool because he is a glory chaser, like all the other idiots who are from nowhere near Anfield.

I'm Chelsea and this video should be removed for being fake news and total bollocks.
Another thing... Heysel would have happened exactly the same if Chelsea and a lot of other clubs fans had been in that end on.that day
I've never seen Scousers steaming into away ends , nor have have seen police or horses on the Anfield pitch , or riots at Anfield like I have at The Bridge and other places like Brum v Leeds when a young fan was killed when a wall collapsed during mayhem on the pitch
They weren't angels by.no means, no one was.
And the authorities were so happy when.fans of other clubs blinded by tribalism believed the cop and football authority criminals who blamed fans for Hillsborough. Spurs fans were on the brink of the same disaster a few years previously and only saved by the closing of the tunnel to stop fans entering the 2 sections where fans were crushed to death a few years later ( its on RUclips)
It was going to happen one day, to , children, fathers, etc etc in a totally avoidable tragedy..
    .
Hooligan books and films never mention ordinary fans being attacked by mobs, they would have us believe it was battles between noble warriors with a strict moral code not to attack innocent fans.
Total shite, aside from.the arse kicking and pavement dancing main event , fans minding their own business were attacked and beaten .
It was grotesque we should be ashamed of out behaviour ( I know I am) instead of gloating about it.

I'm an Evertonian and as much as I don't like LFC I have to say that this video is as stupid and fake as the Everton one you posted. It's like you find a few facts and then hang them together with nonsense. I bought your book and it's also pretty silly.
No-one got the better of either Liverpool or Everton at home in those days although a few like Millwall and West Ham had a go. The only game I can recall at Goodison that came close to that was Tommy Wrights testimonial when Glasgow Rangers invaded Liverpool and filled the Park End.
Our big day was always when either Man U or City came to Liverpool, or we went there. They brought big numbers and we always filled the Scoreboard End and The Kippax when we traveled there. Heysel was a disaster caused by a wall that failed and we all know what really happened at Hillsborough now. Every Evertonian stands side by side with Liverpool over what happened there. I was at the FA Cup Final that year and it was the most emotional game I ever went to.
The stories of us going forces with Liverpool on many occasions are true. They were our school mates and workmates and in this days you didn't see violence between the two sets of fans. Something we were both proud of.
Liverpool and Everton started the cool; dress sense that you like to call "Casuals". But we called ourselves Scallies. You could spot a Scouser easily from his wedged haircut, trainers and drainee jeans or cords. They were the coolest looking mobs in England who were subsequently copied, first by Mancunians and then by the rest of the country. We could spot each other a mile off.
You better do a clean up on your videos because they are often incorrect and they sound ridiculous with the voice-over that hides your identity. Some of the football firm books you read are self-serving, biased accounts of what truly happened.

Liverpool's end looked full at Main Road in the 1985 semi so 7,000 tickets not sold seems another myth. Moss Side police said worse violence they have ever seen. Young lads started a riot in anger at the result. Absolute carnage. Mancs were on the pitch celebrating. Mancs got pulverized at Goodison by both Liverpool/Everton. Many greetings from Michigan. Finding the whole culture behind European football to be immensely intriguing, and I have a question; when you say "Stanley knife" do you mean a Stanley brand box-cutter??
We do share a common tongue, but there are tons of differences and meanings to make them almost completely separate. Many thanks in advance for any illumination on this matter.
P.S. I have no idea why the U.S. version is called football, when the place-kicker is the only one who ever kicks the ball, in opposite to yours where, only the goalie (and refs) ever put their hands on the ball, during play... why the U.S. game is called that name over here makes about as much sense as putting a pair of pajamas on a cat. I can accept the fist and the boot, as was noted by an interviewee in one of these videos "fighting is part of being Human" not his exact words, but close enough. But to use what is essentially a large razor blade over a sporting/territorial rivalry... that's pretty cold, and very brutal.
Sports fans over here can get a smidge nuts; regardless if their team wins or losses a championship, one can expect a riot, but it is mostly property damage... cars being tipped over and lit on fire.
Think the worst thing I can recall from our football is; fans of the Raiders can get out of hand, and will do stuff like throw D-cell batteries at the players. Hockey use to have a lot of brutality amongst the players, including stick fights, which could get pretty bloody. But the NHL cracked down on a lot of it as they wanted to make it more family-friendly, and players were getting damaged for life. Check out a guy from the old days named Larry "the Rock" Zeidel.

Absolute scum far worse than made out here, not just for violence but also for just robbing and smashing towns up. And again personally seen that far worse than just carrying Stanley knives they actually modify them to have two blades separated by a match stick. It creates two parallel slashes that are difficult to stitch and often cause permanent scarring. Seen them do that to a lad with my own eyes. Absolute scum and the only fans I truly hate. Having said that football now is worlds apart from this, so much safer and family friendly, very rare to get any kind of trouble and kids can attend safely. In the 70s and 80s they were treated like scum and so just ran riot. Nobody cared and football fans were universally hated.

Being naive, he was wearing his Chelsea away scarf, mainly green with a bit of red and white and made sure only the red and white was visible as he put it in his pocket. VIOLENCE ONLY BREEDS VIOLENCE
*** First of all and very importantly, I strongly condone and deplore all acts of football violence or any violence as ‘violence only breeds violence’. I have seen far too much of it, and I am ashamed and regret many things I committed during my violent days as an ex-football hooligan. Having trained for many years at Martial Arts (Karate, Judo, Kick Boxing) I abused them all, because they are only meant to be applied in Self-Defence, and not for provoking someone to have a fight just to see how good you really are. I have been involved in some of the nastiest violent fights in and outside football grounds and nightclubs for over 25 years with most notorious football hooligan firms around the United Kingdom. I’ve had sharp coins, knives, darts, bricks, bottles, plastic seats, hot cups of tea, fireworks, flares, beer, full cans of fizzy drink; Molotov petrol cocktails, dog faeces, urine, all been thrown at me. I’ve had pepper spray in my face; loaded shotguns in my face on several occasions, and many irate and drunken night-club revellers makings death threats to me for many years. I’ve also, had a loaded magnum 45 revolver pointed at my head; stabbed and threatened with axes, hammers, baseball bats and machetes too many times. They say the older you get the more mature and wiser you become. I thank GOD and give HIM all the GLORY for HIS great grace and power to save me, because I would have died many times over. I thank GOD that I am so blessed to be alive for I would be dead, and long time buried if it wasn’t for HIS unconditional love, grace, and mercy. I can boldly say, “I am a miracle of HIS tender mercies.” They say the older you get the wiser and mature you become! I am so glad I wised up by GOD’S grace, and repented and returned back to GOD to serve HIM as my LORD and personal SAVIOUR. If you reading this message and are still hooked on violence, and still involved in being part of a football firm - let me please give you some good advice, get out while you can! For no one ever really wins in the end because the real true mark of any man is being able to swallow his pride and ego, to walk away from any fight to live another day as the brevity of life is far too short my friend! If you really want to fight someone - then pick a fight with the devil - for he’s the one behind all acts of violence because his business is to kill, cheat, destroy and steal our soul from eternity. But GOD is a GOD of love and peace, and wills you to come to Him through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST and receive a brand new life! Choose you therefore this day whom you will serve GOD or Satan - for this is the day of your salvation - choose life, choose JESUS CHRIST!!! ***

@steve-kl9iv wow after all these yrs ,first time it's been remembered I do like it was yesterday ,I don't remember you singing at the fans we fought with ,because too caught up with the moment ,then all of a sudden we were by the pitch ,looking back though with what you said with heysel ,it does ring true at first I did think your fans were slow to fight back , obviously outnumbering us big style but fair play and ,just smiling to myself after your message brought the incedent back in a more intense way ,OCS were a rite bunch of top heads though back then , especially this 50 led by a lad called Ian Chapman ,when I used to stay over at is some weekends in Sheffield ,all he watched was war events and lived and breathed hating blades ,I mean hatred beyond normal but back then I wasn't on same level ,cos I come from a town blackpool there game and script back then was much bigger ,thanks for sharing your take with me freind ,much appreciated couldn't of been easy for you to swallow 🤝

I remember watching a doc on the telly about Firms from all over the world and Hibs fans were some of the worst. They had lookouts on top of the hill to see when the away fans were arriving by train. The fans on the hill would signal to the rest and all hell would break loose at the train station before the away fans had a chance to make their way to Easter Road.

Chelsea Fan Terry Farley the DJ once gave an interview in the late 1980s and he says when he heard about fighting at Heysel, his reaction was 'get in there Liverpool - show those eyeties'. Any match goers of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s knew what a load of cunts Italians could be and a national tribal feeling of solidarity use exist back then. Brian Clough in the preview to the 1982 World Cup said 'we've always had trouble with them (Italians). Nasty'. Any match lad knew if their fans were in block Z that night - the same thing would have happened. Chelsea charged us at the 1982 FA Cup game at the Bridge in identical fashion. Despite beating Everton to the Double in 1986 I never heard any shit off them about Heysel. There was a feeling we were all in it together. Especially against the Tories. I can't remember any taunts we use get post Heysel at away games. Most knew it was bollocks. So i don't know if this Heysel blame and using 38 dead Italians and 1 irishman to score internet points is from new fans who jumped on the Premier League bandwagon and are looking for some tribalism to replace the vacuum that the modern bland corporate shite and their marketing departments have created. or older fans who are pumped up by the 24/7 media that football now gets
