Even if Provenzano has perfumed for a lot of top/hidden niche houses like Boadicea, Penhaligons, Fragrance du Bois, C. Clive, Kilian and now Nishane as well, he is lacking a successful fragrance. His biggest hit is Halfeti and that's basically mid. For somebody that has made so many fragrances across so many brands... obviously it's different to say "favorite", but I don't see a single argument for saying he's the best.
For the scents, I haven't tried most of these. PM was not my taste though, just a very loud fragrance with too much going on - the patchouli, the spices, the leather.
Appreciate the comment my man! Hmm I must say that I respectfully disagree with you on this.
Obviously it's all personal taste, but a lot of my absolute favourites have been made by Christian Provenzano; including Blue Sapphire - which I consider one of the best, most complex, power house scents ever created in niche fragrances)
Then on top of that he's contracted to do fragrances for a lot of the smaller niche and indie houses that are a great price point - so anyone can enjoy his scents coming in at any price point you like.
Nabati by Astrophil & Stella is a new brand he's worked with and to get this dark rich complex scent that I really love it's around 200aud which is a crazy price. Again, it's all personal opinion man haha would love to know which frags you consider "the best" in the industry and who you regards as best perfumer?
@@KevFragranceAdventures All this just my opinion. To add at the top, work for unknown houses goes unappreciated and typically unseen. Obviously you have more exposure to some brands than I do, I'm mostly mainstream niche and the tier below that (i.e. brands like Vilhelm, BDK, Goldfield), the only brand I'm in that's well-hidden is Royal Crown.
Most of the "best fragrances" to me are the premium-tier niche scents that make work with a lot of components. Great examples are Alexandria II and Nefs - scents that have significant evolution and components that are hard to decipher. And that's far different than my favorite type of fragrances which are vanilla-gourmands (Sultan, Lune Feline) or gourmands as a whole (incl. Sweetie Aoud, Intoxicated, Black Phantom etc).
My personal favorite is likely Cecile Zarokian because I enjoy her creations the most. Ani and Royal Tobacco are great examples. As for best, if we're comparing apples to apples, it should be Francis Kurkdjian. And I actually don't think it's that close between Kurkdjian and Provenzano. If we're fine with those that have relevant exposure to niche and designer, it's either Kurkdjian or Dominique Ropion. Ropion's work for Frederic Malle is very diverse, and he has a recent hit release (YSL's Babycat).
I think my main point was I can't value Provenzano's work the way you guys do. His personal brand is basically invisible, the scents he has created for the brands I mentioned never took off (and I'd guess they never will). That leads me to my second point which is Provenzano's work being largely driven by rose, oud and leather. He has a specialty and even in that market branch, he is not hitting success. Great examples of this are Mana and Parisian. I'm not sure if we can say he is getting outclassed, i.e. if you compare Parisian to Favonius or Promise, I'm not saying Parisian is bad, but it certainly doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Amouroud is a house I need to explore a lil more
Hello
Highly recommend all these fragrances 👊
Most definitely, they have quite a big range - the White bottles are their aromatic fresh scents and their classic Black bottles are more of your deep darker scents (Ouds, woody, amber etc)
Bourbon Vanilla is not typically referred to as boozy bourbon, it's actually Vanilla from this place called Bourbon island, french colony East of Africa

Sorry guys you lost me there, you didnt SAY THE NAME OF THE FRAGRANCE DU BOIS one.
Fragrance du Bois fragrances don't last long!
No. The FDB PM lasts long on skin and clothes. It lasted on my skin 8+ hours. On my winter coat 3 weeks.
Hello
Fragrances du Bois PM on my skin 4 sprays 14-16hrs incredible performance and projection...
@@leelogins3982 we all have different skin chemistry! I fell in love with Orange Oud Intense..I'm a freak for coconut and vanilla in perfumery....
@@javoneldridge8046 Some perform much stronger than others. Get PM sprayed on and let us know what you think Javon, would love to hear your thoughts :)
You never say the names of the parfumes
