The mighty combination of Roots Radics and Scientist at their best and Johnny... top singer pon any kind of style, whether Studio One, early 80's like Nightfall or raggamuffin.
Wah what a heavyweight dub plate, featuring the legendary roots radics band - Mixed at Jammy's Kingston and the undergradute Scientist at the controls.
@@ZachKopkaZake Apologies, just saw your comment. Back in the late 70s, early 80s, a lot of the tunes I heard were either Michael Prophet or Johnny Osborne. The mix was almost always Scientist and the band Roots Radics. A golden era that I feel will never be repeated. I must also say the Barrington Levy vocals and Scientist dubs are legendary.
@@ZachKopkaZake Sadly I only got to see Gregory once live, at the 85 Sunsplash but it was an amazing day. To see the man walk on in the fashion that only he could, was a moment I'll never forget. The line up that day was incredible, Sugar Minott was there, Third World, Smiley Culture, Arrow etc it was a great mix of reggae and soca. Oh, a little known artist at the time called Maxi Priest also. I feel so lucky to have seen these people perform.
Never saw Johnny live, sadly. My favourite tunes are endless!. Mr Politician, Rock And Come On, No Lollipop No Sweet So, Water Pumping, Nightfall, Kiss Somebody....The list is endless!. Oh and I must mention "Bite The Hand" with Aswad, great tune
Scientist on the mixing board - tough selection from Johnny Osbourne - Baaaad
Great tune don't care that it's the same bass line over and over
