I would have sent Dave a certified letter by a lawyer saying what you're going to do if you find anybody in your driveway. As well as the fact that Dave could easily solve this problem by telling his guest that they need to either carpool or Uber their way to his place. If they're going to be drinking it's probably the safest option to have them just over to his house.

The first one, I love how people like Dave think that everyone has to capitulate to them and bow down to their demands with your private property that they don’t seem to know how to respect. People like that wouldn’t even bother to try to talk to someone, they’d just have the vehicle towed but would still demand everyone else let his friends use someone else’s property.

My late husband and I were married via common law marriage. But then because he had family that wanted a so called REAL wedding, we were married in a court room with a full marriage certificate. Not one of those family attended the wedding, save my stepfather. Go figure. The Ex in this story though - horrible woman it seems. Forgery is a Federal crime, they should have gone after her for that.

If the story really happened, that would probably have been the result, but it's unlikely that the AI which cobbled that tale together can tell the difference between a civil and a criminal case.

*Last Story:* I would be shocked by the ex's antics if I didn't see the _exact same entitlement_ every day online. Some people get it in their heads that they can do whatever they want, whether out of ignorance of the laws or just magical thinking they should have outgrown in their late-teens and twenties.

First “never” grant any permission unless you want it totally abused. Second “never” contact the person to verbally ask him to stop, get a letter from a lawyer denying access. Then you can go to law enforcement and court. Now Dave has decided to up the ante, maybe a word to law enforcement about the potential DWI’s that could be taking place.Story from years ago. I liked motorcycles and when young had a 1951 600cc single cylinder Panther. You had to set the ignition and choke by hand, it also had a half compression lever that lifted the valves to aid starting. I pulled into a cafe one day and there was a couple of guys that I had never seen before. They laughed at the old bike and a regular said “I bet you could never start it” I gave the choke a tweak, retarded the ignition and said “go ahead” the kick back put him over the handlebars and In casualty with a sprained ankle. His mate did not even try

I TOOK MY DRIVERS TEST (1994 , YES IM OLD) IN MY GRANDMAS CAR WHICH DID NOT HAVE POWER STEERING, BUT IT WAS THE CAR I LEARNED TO DRIVE IN, SO WHEN THE INSTRUCTOR HAD ME DO THE 3 PT TURN AND THE PARALLEL PARK, HE WAS FREAKING AMAZED WHEN AFTERWARDS I INFORMED HIM THAT THERE WAS INDEED NO POWER STEERING.....
    .NEEDLESS TO SAY I PASSED..😂😂😂😂
For anyone who has ever driven a car without power steering who was born in the mythical time of when cars didn't have that you know the struggle, and for any of the younger generation just know how completely blessed you are to not have to deal with that

40 - 45KM in a 50KM zone isn't too slow especially during heavy traffic or on an unknown road. Now if you were doing 30KM or less that would've been another matter.
Inheritance story that was a mess little surprised the house didn't come up right away, without a will the lawyers should've done a property search I know when I went through this they did tagging all the property and vehicles my brother had owned. Once probate was settled the first time the courts would've been loath to reopen the estate and if not excluded entirely the most the ex-wife would've been entitled to is a third of everything without a will

Parking OP's car story: While it's been more than a few years I have driven cars and trucks without power steering. It's a pain if you're not used to it and I'm very grateful to have it. The lack of power brakes isn't much fun either and I've driven cars/trucks without them also.

The first two cars I ever had, was so much fun without power steering. I loved those cars. (well car and truck) My truck was a Mazda B2200, lowered/slammed to the ground, pearl under coat gloss black over coat, triple dipped chrome wheels, and a sound system from the bowels of Hadeś…it was a show truck. Down side; it was a B2200 lowered so no shocks worth a dang, no a/c, no power steering, no power anything. But man it was beautiful. I really miss that truck but I’m a 44 year old dad and a lowered mini truck ain’t cool for me anymore. But at 19 it was a perfect vehicle

For you kids who've never driven a car w/o power steering: The trick to it is to allow the car to roll forward, AT JUST ENOUGH POWER TO OVERCOME INERTIA! If you're moving AT ALL, you will find the steering to be gentle and easy, damn-near as easy as power steering.
WARNING!: don't try to drive like Ernhardt. Creep forward. You'll be amazed.

2nd story: "A solid working car, but a bit on the older side" that doesn't have power steering.... How old is this car!? This guy's gotta be driving around in a classic since power steering became more of a standard in the 60's.

    • @jerry2357
      @jerry2357 8 месяцев назад

As the story gave speeds in km/h, I'm guessing that it didn't take place in the USA. Power steering arrived later in countries that used reasonably-sized cars, rather than the behemoths common in the States.
EDIT: for instance the original Mini was never fitted with power steering, nor was the Metro. It appears that the VW Polo first had power steering as standard in the 1990s.

Hi, i have giving you a story before and I've got another one, please read.
*please don't show my name tag*
Get me in trouble for something he did, ok.
So this happened when I was in middle school PE, but first, the characters.
    Me-me
    TC- Terrible coach
    Jerk- jerk
    Friend- friend
So Jerk has been bullying me for years on end, but this really pissed me off.
I was in PE and we were playing capture the flag with 4 teams. I was on blue team with friend and Jerk was on red team, me and friend stood at our flag while the rest of the team went to get flags, so Jerk was targeting my team because he bullies me so yah. Jerk comes running up to my flag to steal it, and if you want to protect you're flag, you need to tag the other players. I tag Jerk to save my flag but after I tag him, he grabs my shirt and dives to the ground, pulling me with him. TC sees it and sits him on the bench for about 10 minutes and me and friend do fine. After the 10 minutes jerk came back out. And yet again, he goes for my flag. Again I tag him and he grabbed my shirt and dives with me to, again. TC comes in and says this "Okay go to the beach ( while telling me to go to the beach)" I told told her "what, jerk pulled me to the ground by my shirt, friend can confirm" she then goes on saying that it wouldn't be fair to punish jerk only, I argued with her for about 5 minutes before she yelled at me to go to the benches for the rest of the class, and i was pissed.
After PE I go to the office to report her, turns out, I'm not the first on who had a problem with her. The next day in PE, I don't see TC, I asked one of the others coaches what happened to TC, the coach said " oh TC, she got fired finally after too many complaints about her, and some of them were from me" I then smilled from ear to ear with glee, knowing that I won't have to deal with here anymore.
Update: about 2 months later I said screw this and I went home schooling from then on.
