The DOWNFALL Of Golden State Has Begun With THIS...

In just a few days Golden State lost 2 games where they led by more than 20 points. First, the Kings came back from down 24 to eliminate them in the tournament.
And then, last game they were up by 22 on the Clippers but then…
This is only the tip of the iceberg for this team’s real problems. And people around the league are starting to talk about the downfall, the end of the Warriors as we know them. As a powerhouse in the NBA.
Golden State has a miserable 3-9 record in the last 12 games. Only the Wizards, the Pistons and the Spurs who have been worse than them in that span. 2 of these teams are a complete joke as we’ve seen so far, and the Spurs are actively trying to lose every game. That’s how bad the Warriors are. But what makes people say that this is the beginning of the end for them?
It starts off with Steve Kerr, who at the moment seems like he’s losing control of things.
The fans are still mad about this sequence where Moses Moody hit back to back huge threes and played some phenomenal defense in that stretch.
But just moments later, Kerr takes out the hottest guy on the floor and things kind of spiraled down for the Warriors.
But possibly the biggest issue is taking minutes away from a promising rookie like Brandin Podziemski who’s been extremely solid so far, and randomly playing Cory Joseph who’s at the end of his career, and look at his numbers.
2 points per game on 24% from the field and 22% from downtown. This is atrocious.
Why is he getting those 11 minutes instead of increasing Podziemski’s playing time or Moody or the other young guys?
Kerr has also completely lost control over Draymond Green who’s been a total distraction in some games.
Even after getting suspended for you know what, Green is still raging on the court, getting technicals- at times during key moments of the game. And he continues to tackle people on a nightly basis.
With a bunch of guys in and out with injuries, the least they need right now is another suspension of their best defender.
Speaking of guys being in and out- CP3 is having his annual injury moment early in the season so how are we supposed to think that this won’t happen again come playoff time.
This is another part of the issue. With the core group of players getting way up there in age, Golden State did not make a significant upgrade, and for the second season in a row they’re hoping that Kuminga or Moody will become so good that they will help this team win another championship.
But while these guys are solid, they are nowhere near replacing Klay Thompson or Andrew Wiggins, who are both having a horrible season so far.
For Wiggins, this is by far the worst year in Golden State. An all around drop in minutes, points, field goal percentage and especially 3 point percentage where it seems like he forgot how to shoot.
And Thompson has been a trending topic. He seemingly forces up shots more than ever, and sometimes shoots the Warriors out of games.
But the issue is just as big with him defensively. The age and injuries have caught up to him. In his prime Klay was one of the best on ball defenders but now he looks flat out slow, so quicker and shiftier guys are even looking to hunt matchups against him.
Thompson has been a huge reason for Golden State’s plummeting numbers on both ends.
It seems like the entire team is falling apart, but Golden State still has 1 piece functioning as good as ever. And it just so happens that it’s the most important piece of the puzzle.
Steph Curry has single handedly kept this team afloat going God mode at age 35.
Curry’s unreal season signals the Warriors front office that they can still at least hope for another title run. But to do that, some trades need to be made.
Kevin O’Connor from the Ringer mentions that this team needs to be active at the trade deadline. Whether it’s guys like Siakam or Anunoby, or Alex Caruso, even Kyle Kuzma who could provide a scoring punch.
And he mentions some less possible scenarios as well like Kawhi, PG or Lauri Markannen.
But for any of these moves, 1 thing is certain. They would most likely need to move on from Klay Thompson.
And yeah, the 3 guys that put this team on the map would all like to finish off their careers playing together for the Warriors, but Klay is in his last year of the contract, and giving him another big one would mean a few more seasons of the same thing that’s happening right now.
And without a lot of room for upgrades of improvement- this would certainly mean the end of the Golden State glory days, the end of an era.
So if the front office wants to bridge the past with the future, and continue that success, they’ll need to make some difficult decisions. Let’s see if they do it. 1 guy that could also be on the trading block is Donovan Mitchell and I recently made a video about the Cavaliers issues with him.

Kerr is in a longterm business of winning, he has to see the big picture. They have realities that contrain them right now, and that is the fact, that their legacy players get big contracts for the past accomplishments, and it's been made very clear who the silverbacks are. But the other side of it is, there is no young team anywhere that is winning a ring. Penny and Shaq didnt. Young MJ didnt, Young Bron didnt, and right now the Blazers or OKC (most likely) arent. So the consequence is, older beats younger statistically. Certainly not retirement age old, but 30 plus minus 4 years.

      @David-iv6je 7 месяцев назад +10

As is his wont, Kerr is letting guys play their way out of their troubles. I believe it will work with Wiggins, who had that mysterious leave last year. But Klay is washed and Dray's craziness has gotten worse even as his numbers are down. Draymond already for sure cost them one ring (vs Cavs 2016) and a potential title run with the Poole punch (22-23). If anything I would ship Dray and bring Klay off the bench or shelve him to work out health problems to see if he can come out as a solid role player. Then fer Pete's sake give the young guys some reps and see if Kuminga can be at least a good starter or 6th or 7th man.
The problem with the trade scenarios is who would want to trade for Klay or Dray? Klay at least is an expiring. But Dray is thru 25-26 or 26-27. Argh!

tbf they tried that with poole and look what happened. maybe their front office is afraid of a younger guy dipping once they give him a bag again. im not defending them; theres no reason to take the guy with the hot hands out of the game in the middle of his streak, but maybe thats the overall picture

Steve Kerr's liberal coaching style is finally coming back to bite him. You can't appease everyone, which is what Kerr has been doing for years. There's no problem when you're winning games but now: Kerr needs to make the tough decisions of giving certain star players less minutes.

Draymond should be commended on what he has brought to this organization but it’s time for him to go. At this point in his career Steve Kerr should not have to “keep him under control”. He’s a toxic vet that continues to do dumb things that put his team in horrible positions and sets a bad example for the new guys. At least Klay will shoot him self back into 40 percent from three and keep a positive attitude. If they are gonna break it up Draymond has to be the first to go.

Everybody can get injured. So-called "injury prone" athletes can get traded, then never get hurt again. It's like you're picking a great time to cut somebody down for a reason that you can't predict ahead of time. Example: the Blazers took huge solid strong Greg Oden first overall, and passed on a skinny guy, who stupidly was drafted second overall. Who won that deal? (Hint: they now call that second guy The Slim Reaper, and Oden limped around for like a total of 80 games in three years, then was done forever.)

bruh have u been watching warriors ball.. he has ALWAYS let them coach themselves,, he even says it in interveiws. They call it "controlled chaos" klay steph kerr and dray have all talked about how the warriors system is "coach yourselves" he is basically just a motivator and reminder .. not really a x's and o's coach.. same as 99 percent of lebron coaches.. they allow lebron to do as he pleases with the agreement he gets full control of the floor as long as coaching staff gets full control of substitutions and time outs.. thats why he had to leave miami because he didnt like the fact he had to listen to all of eric spoelstras x's and o's because he see's things he feels the coach cant see and in miami they dont care about none of that but in other franchises to keep him they will allow him control of the floor.. he is literally a floor general. Chris paul in goldenstate is a bad mix because cp3 is another guy who plays oldschool point guard and listens to the coach. Steve kerr is just motivating chris like, allright chris make sure no turnovers and hit the open man with the pass.. like bro anyone can say that.. goldenstate is where the badass kids go that want to do what they want, they the one that raised jordan poole to be that way then wanna put him in the washington wizards group home for acting up with one of the seniors in the warriors bad kids program (draymond) why u think curry always stick his tongue out and shimmy, dude is a bad ass kid that shoots from anywhere he wants.. before curry only player shooting from anywhere was gilbert arenas and now curry said fuck you im throwing shots from anywhere im not listening but mark spoiled him and told him its ok to do, then him and klay started acting up. Some coaches are strict parents and some are grandparents that wanna spoil the kids.. usually when the coach is a former nba player they spoil their younger generation and treat them how they wanted to be treated... we need less player coaches if you want to be honest

And I remember there was videos being posted at the beginning of the season saying the Warriors were putting the NBA on notice. And I responded by saying no their not and that they will go on a losing street although I didn't think it would happen as soon as it has. Plain and simple the Warriors are not giving any team nightmares. No one fears them. Yes they have depth but their weaknesses is so significant that they can't make up for it. They always seem to have a harder time scoring than the team they are facing. And I've notice about 86% of the time when the Warriors hit a 3pointer the opposition go right back down the court and hit a successful 3pointer on the very next possession. It happens way more than it should just pay attention. What's the point jacking up 3's and trying to create a greater separation in the score when you can't seem to stop the opponent from hitting 3's on the very next possession. And we always talk about how great the Warriors move without the ball and they do there is no doubt about it, but it's also one of the main reasons why they turn the ball over so much. I mean you pass the ball to a spot thinking the player is gonna be there but he stops or he cuts back because he trying to fake out the defender and create separation and now you turn the ball over because the players is not there, when you thought he was running to that spot but he cut back. The Warriors cant overcome their weaknesses, letting teams back in the game, getting out rebounded and turning the ball over constantly giving the opponent frequent opportunities is a recipe for your demise. You can't win this way and it will haunt you and be the reason you will fail reaching the ultimate goal.

Central problem 🙄: no tall center.
2nd problem: Steve Kerr does not stick with the hot 🔥 hand ✋. 3rd problem: he does not give rookies and other young players enough minutes for development. 4th problem: too much salary to aging all-stars.
Solution. Deal with 1: acquire a tall center. If the owners want a "cheap" center, Isaiah Hartenstein is available. Wizards and Magic have excess of players 6 feet and 10 inches or taller. On 4: Warriors cam trade Wiggins or, less likely, Thompson to acquire Myles Turner or another expensive center. (Thompson has a higher salary than most all-star 🌟 centers.) Thus, a salary swap is feasible. 😊
