- It's that time again! We have a booster box of the newly released Lost Origin and I have one question. Did pokemon mess up and make these packs weighable or did they fix this problem. What happens will blow your mind!

Interesting results I was not expecting that! From what I seen booster boxes is the way to go with this set, you average 10-14 (sometimes 16) hits per box.
This was an above average box imo. I wish all boxes were like this 😆

no they're not.. this may be the case with this booster box but it isn't with others.. try 3 or 4 different booster boxes and you'll see why. All people that claim sets are weighable do the same mistake (they weigh packs in just one booster box or just one ETB or whatever and try to draw conclusions). Sets since sun&moon (maybe since even the XY era) aren't weighable. This is because pokemon changes the weight of packs all the time by altering the weight of the pack wrapper, alternating code cards and sometimes even by altering the weight of the pokemon cards themselves! That's why sometimes quality varies a lot.. All serious weighting guides out there reach, at best, the heartgold soulsilver era but don't touch anything beyond that

How does this prove the new set can be weighed? You pulled rare cards out of the lightest, heaviest, and mid-weight packs. I would agree the packs are weighable IF you only pulled rares out of X weight packs, but they were all over.

Are you blind ? He didnt pull anything from the mid range ? And had a 100% hit rate when it came to the low and high range ? They are clearly weighable and tg cards are worth as much as reverse hollos they just look nice
White code cards are heavier
I scaled out my ETB and all the hits were in the lightest packs as well. The heaviest pack had a white v star placement card

Depending on where the box was manufactured or bought from the results can be different. But I like to try it out so everyone is aware
I observed a ton of this product and a guranteed hit was always in pack 22.25g+ and secret rares/V star were always in packs 21.95-

At 7:29 it mentions that the code cards are different weights to prevent "...cheaters", given the set was made back in 2018, I think they would still use the same system for there packs today. Yeah this bs. I just opened up 2-Evolving skies ETBs, and weighed every pack,,, and the heaviest ones were hits,, but still garbage. This sucks. Man. Pokémon is slacking.

It is not possible to weigh packs and consistently know which have good pulls and which do not.
Yeah is conclusion at the end was weird “yes they can be weighed” mean while every stack had a hit…. 🤷🏻♂️.
Weighing definitely insightful but not consistent, and requires them to come from the same boxes
@@ejeverett4322 Unless someone can take packs and definitely weigh them and figure out "these packs have hits these do not" then there is no weighing problem
Yea I tried last night on a few set and there was no consistency it's impossible to weigh to find hits
