I read Between Shades of Gray in middle school and it was amazing. It was very sad but I learned so much about that period of history that I couldn't have even imagined at that age. It's an amazing book and it opens your eyes to parts of this time period that a history class might not feel so comfortable going into detail About.

For Christmas I got the Infernal Devices boxed set, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, The Queen of the Tearling, and A Great and Terrible Beauty and I also bought myself a bunch of books haha. I'm currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I love it so much I can't wait to read the next two in the trilogy

I haven't had a reading goal since high school but then I had a lot more time. I always had my nose in a book.
My birthday is the week before Christmas so most of my books I got then, but I got City of Fallen Angels and City of Heavenly Fire for Christmas this year (which I have read by now) to complete my collection! :) The other books I got were the two Tearling books, the illustrated HP, and some more random books that are the first one in their respective series. My Goodreads goal is pretty low (30) but series are my favorite way to achieve it!

I then went and bought: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, The Bronze Horseman by Philipa Simons, Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raash, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer and Ice Like Fire by Sara Raash. So yeah...I bought quite a few thanks to Waterstones and Amazon!

I hope you get to your challenge of 100 books. I set my challenge for 105 because that's how many books I have on my TBR, I spend too much money on books. These books sound so good. Great haul.
My goal this year is to read 125 books, which is entirely possible as I'm a fast reader and in 2015 I read 131. I figured 125 is a nice number to go with. I got soo many books for Christmas, it made me really happy. Uprooted, Vengeance Road, The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farmboy, Ten Thousand Skies Above You, November 9, and I bought Passenger and Truthwitch for myself. I still have a B&N gift card to use so I'm not quite done yet!

I got Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. I bought them and tow bookmarks, one says 'Eat. Sleep. Read.' and the other says 'Don't judge a book by its movie', with a gift card and some extra money I got for Christmas. I read both of the books a couple months before then, and I just had to get them. I wanted to get Alienated and Invaded, but B&N didn't have them in :/ Still excited to have the two I got! I got the Deluxe Collectors Edition of Fangirl :D I loved your video!

The Lora Leigh book you got is really good, and it's part of a series, but the kind where you can be ok with only reading one, or starting in the middle, but you get more out of it if you read all of them, if that makes sense :)

I know some delightful historical novels you could pick up: Tale of 2 Cities, Ivanhoe, I Claudius, War and Peace. Lots of fun. An even trickier book is the Plague by Camus.
