Nice alarm system guys, we are with you on the fact, a lot of owner of vans, will say that this is expensive. However like you have already ready stated, its cheap compared to replacing your van or money aside the upset and distress caused by the break in or thief of your van.
And most say it won’t happen to them as well
Just had a Growler Strikeback system fitted to our van (alarm/immobiliser and tracker). Fantastic system, very professional installation and handover and nice guys to deal with. Not cheap, but given the high value of the van and peace of mind it provides, it’s well worth it.
Went for a Pandora myself, but a sophisticated alarm is a must these days

What does the battery master do ?
@@darrenbullman9450 hi the battery master senses when the vehicle battery needs a bit of charge and takes power from your leisure battery to top it up, been brilliant for us as we don’t move the van for 2-3 weeks once sited, never had a problem starting,👊
Money well spent guys especially as you like you said spend so much on motor homes /vans this is some thing I have been considering just latley as ours is parked on drive makes me on edge at times as we use our little car to block it in as ditterent thanks for this Neil and Emma 👊🏻
Your not alone although we have cameras in the van, on the van from outside we where both still on edge having it just parked with how many stolen vans/motorhomes there have been in the last few years and have done the same as you parking the car in front of the van to block it in.

Is it possible to turn off the small flashing lights if required, without disarming the alarm system. I suspect in certain park up situations, they would potentially attract attention. Sometimes I just want to be discrete when parked up. Looks like the mutz nutz of a security system though. Every bit helps to deter or slow down wrong un's which is what it's all about.
No mate the lights have to be on . That’s one of the main appeals of the alarm is that it’s visual . But I get what you’re saying tho totalt .

under 1500 for that alarm and all the wiring they had to do id say that's a fair deal. do you have a tracker for the van incase it does still some how still get stolen? can you have no blinky lights or just one if you don't want them all over your vehicle?

not thacham approved buddy , there recognised by insurance not not approved . also any one can fit them , the thing we like about the strike back system is you wont find a fitting guide online which we like
We looked at these also but even though a lot of insurance companies recognise them they aren’t all Thatcham approved so we went for one that was
