A man has every biblical right to remarry when his wife passes away. The dad screwed up by doing it in secret though, that's just dumb and he had to know it would quickly blow up in his face.

The strange thing is he didn't rush in, he met her a year after his wife died then married her six months later and kept it all hidden for another six months.
When was he going to plan on telling her? This can also look like my wife is dead time to throw out the old and start a new family without my daughter. She could take it as she means so little to her dad that he doesn't want her in his new life as he kept her apart from it and didn't even want her at the wedding.
He has created problems and is mad that they have consequences, he could loose his daughter as she will doubt him and think what else is he hiding? Is his wife pregnant or has she already been as they have known each other for over a year
