Saw Buff from the beginning when he was Marcus Bagwell straight outta high school and he got a little more muscle on him over the years, yet, never the level of Steiner. Ever.
Bagwell was never a huge star in WCW. Booker T, Scott Steiner, Hulk Hogan, Sting, DDP, Goldberg. Those were huge stars. Bagwell was only on the level he was near the end of WCW because of his relationship with Lex Luger.
A lot of the guys Bagwell mentioned in the beginning, actually all of them except for Hugh Morrus, had major star potential if they would be used better. Sean O'Haire and Mark Jindrak were muscular, tall, good-looking and could do amazing things in the ring, things that work especially boys and females of all ages. In WCW they were just starting, in WWE they were wasted because they were from WCW and didn't really get any chances.
+CommentatorDeluxe Jindrak was a shit worker, but O'Haire was amazing. Great mic worker, surprisingly strong in-ring work, great look. So much wasted potential. His "Devil's Advocate" gimmick should've been much bigger than it was. Should've built a stable of hedonists around it.
I saw Bagwell at an independent show in late 2003, and this is a completely different person. Buff never acted like this back then. He really needs to be careful about what his opinions are with things, especially when it comes to race.
Buff was done dirty because he had so much charisma and didn't even have to work he was an iconic mascot for nwo. And what if vince was like ... "Only one sexy boy"
Exactly. WCW had this formula of introducing a phenom type character. First I remember was Sid, then Vader, then Giant, then Goldberg, then (maybe) O'Haire and then Bob Sapp. I still dream about a Vader and Giant feud in WCW in 1995 as well as an O'Haire and Goldberg match.
Buff Bagwell brought a lot of charisma when he was with Scott Steiner he was a showstopper girls gift to women like he says he's buff and he's a stuff. May the Lord bless you and your family may you prosper anything you do.
+SETstudio9000 no Taker is still working his gimmick, he's not playing dress up and talking about shit that happened 15 years ago. He's wearing that hat for one reason, and that's bc he knows no one would know who the fxck he is if he weren't wearing it.
+SETStudio9000 Difference is, Undertaker gets paid $450,000 a year to play his gimmick, while Buff Bagwell gives interviews on RUclips wearing a stupid hat from 1998.
I really have to say that I feel truly bad for a lot of these old wrestlers. I know I shouldn't because there are so many people more deserving of sympathy but I just can't help it. There certainly is an archetype for these guys and I'm just waiting to hear a news byte that says "Marcus Bagwell found dead in a hotel room outside Cedar Rapids Iowa prior to a show at a local high school." These guys were so vibrant and seemingly on top of the world as I remember them from my youth and now it's the same story over and over. Especially the WCW guys. They really seem to have promoted irresponsible behavior on the level of backstage at a Guns N Roses concert. Oh well, I feel as if I have said my piece on the matter.
I have watched the Jim Ross comments on the round table, he does seem awfully smug and so eager to burry bagwell, about his mother calling in. I thought it smelled like bullshit when I first saw it. Then I heard Buff on Stonecold's podcast. He may have been difficult to work with backstage, but he was one of the most over stars in the WCW when he was in the NWO. Everybody knows it. I was I high school at the time and that's a fact . There's been TONS of wrestlers who have been maybe difficult to work with. Ross and Hayes also take the opportunity to bury Luger whenever they can. I tend to believe Bagwell, hell no I don't think his mom called In sick for him that's utterly ridiculous...
"Do you really think I had my mother call the WWE and tell them to take me out of Augusta?" "I didn't watch it because my dad told me not to" makes sense...
...He's talking about other people who didn't have "star power", yet all of the people he named had way more talent than Buff ever had. At least his dad was looking out for him and telling him not to watch bad things that grown-ups say about him.
Buff was always my fav wrestler when i actually watched wrestling in the 90s... out of all the big names in the nWo he was my fav.. i agree it seems he was treated pretty bad. Im sure theres plenty of pro wrestlers with worse attitudes than him and who have done way worse shit than the type of shit they are CLAIMING he did..
Jr comes across especially nowadays with him being older and the bells palsy as an easy going, wise old guy, everybody's surrogate uncle. the friendly old uncle who does all the cooking at the BBQ and loves to see everyone happy but I believe there is another side to Ross especially in his younger days but its harder to spot today. a spiteful side which he keeps under wraps that he may wait a long time but he will screw someone over or get even if he feels he has to even years later. you can tell there are some things he still holds resentment towards like WCW and other things he has a dark sarcastic comment about but hes a cool customer and won't show the whole extent of his hatred until he's able to get away with it no witnesses etc just like this with buff bagwell. everyone wants to believe Ross because he's such a good ol boy everybody's favourite uncle especially when they feel sorry for him with his bells palsy and Jim knows how a character like buff is not going to be believed over him so he does it when it's only his word v his. who knows but even if buff is telling the truth how many would believe him over Ross?
+Jonathan Turbide he has charisma right now in mexico. hes a huge star. you know u r a star when ur given telenovela roles thats like headlining movies in hollywood. theres a guy who deserves to come back to WWE.
+Iki Cash He's in CMLL in Mexico right now and made a good career for himself since moving to Mexico. You can actually watch CMLL here on RUclips Mondays and Tuesday. Broadcast live.
HOLY DAMN! I smell another Billy Jack Haynes. Wow, this guy has major issues with JR. I am a huge Jim Ross fan and I can't say that he's an angel or anything but wow, this is the type of shoot interview I would like to watch. The Vickie Guerrero Shoot was ok but man, I should of saved my money for the Bagwell DVD. :(
Jaret Wood Did Ross bury Bart Gunn???? If he did, how???? But yeah, Ross is our Gordon Solie. However, I heard he is bitter when he doesn't get his own way.
Dr. Death Steve Williams was a good friend of JR. They wanted to bring him in, to feud with Austin. They decided to do the Brawl For All, thinking Williams would win easy. However, Bart Gunn messed up those plans. JR buried Gunn afterwards.
Dude spent the most of his wrestling prime where exactly? He wasnt in WWE dont remember him in TNA what happened to him? He was still young when WWE released him.
what fucked him in WWE was his attitude with guys like Bradshaw,Ron Simmons and Bob Holly those guys didn't do main events at the time but they were highly respected backstage. Especially Ron Simmons he got smart with Ron his first night in wwe and that was it. Bob holly talks about it in his book Buff was known to be am asshole backstage in WCW when he would beat members of the ring crew and if I'm not mistaken Ron Simmons and Bradshaw beat the shit of him for real in a segment during the invasion
How the fuck do you do 40 somas and a case of beers a day and still workout enough to maintain a physique like he had? I know he was on gear but still...
I always thought he was a tool, and he is. BUT, he is a straight shooter just telling it like it is. I'm not marking out to him or anything but any man should respect his honesty and straightforwardness. "I didn't fuck that girl".
Buff looks like he is still stuck in in the year 2000
He wishes he was still in 2000. That way he wouldn't be doing shoot interviews to make money.
+Commodore Schmidlapp Why because he is wearing his old hat? Fuck off.
+Tobey Starburst No he pretty much looks exactly the same
***** Completely agree.
Everything was.
Buff needs the goatee back
Ross' reputation for being a two-face is so bad that I actually believe Bagwell.
I know it is quite randomly asking but does anybody know a good place to watch newly released tv shows online ?
Buff has turned Puff and he just can't eat enough.
+Mykamania lol
+Mykamania ROTFLMAO. GOOD ONE.
+ixTopDawgxiHDTv thank you, thank you >:D
+Mykamania Is that you, Big Poppa Pump?
+austinfailz is that me? profile pic?
"Do you really think my mother called?! I didn't watch the video because my father told me not to."
buff bought me sake on my 21st birthday in ATL. Good dude.
it's time to stash the hat. it's 2016 dude.
+TheMurczinks I'm not white prick! what's the matter your azz hurts
+mel bias I'm buff and I got the stuff lol! Give the man a break.
+mel bias Seriously. Corny six flags hat.
m
+mel bias Why follow sheeps? If he wants to wear his awesome hat, so that is fine! :)
I remember watching him sweep a ring at an indie show and I was gonna send it to botchamania but I lost it damnit
Buff had the all round talent to probably still be a superstar to this current day
great backdrop. really stepping up your game on these shoot productions.
Saw Buff from the beginning when he was Marcus Bagwell straight outta high school and he got a little more muscle on him over the years, yet, never the level of Steiner. Ever.
Buff was a big star in WCW they screwed him in WWE.
Tobey Starburst “big”
He was a horrid worker but good entertainer
Bagwell was never a huge star in WCW. Booker T, Scott Steiner, Hulk Hogan, Sting, DDP, Goldberg. Those were huge stars. Bagwell was only on the level he was near the end of WCW because of his relationship with Lex Luger.
A lot of the guys Bagwell mentioned in the beginning, actually all of them except for Hugh Morrus, had major star potential if they would be used better. In WCW they were just starting, in WWE they were wasted because they were from WCW and didn't really get any chances.
+CommentatorDeluxe Jindrak made a name for himself in Mexico though.
+Stephen Smith His matches were boring. Aside from his moonsault, his ring-work wasn't anything special. He was also one uncharismatic motherfucker.
+The Artist Formerly Known As El Gringo ya cuz he couldn't get a job in the states dumbass shut the fuck up he's an untalented piece of shit
ohaire should have been a star, he was batista before batista existed but wcw fucked up
I'm still shocked this guy was fired by Vince, I bet Vince shot a load in his slacks when he saw Buff Bagwell
he's Buff and he was the stuff!
Stop talking about this Bro. It happened 15 years ago, let go of the anger and move on.
Say this to Solomonster!
he wouldn't be talking about it if wasn't being asked about it
He's talking about it because.....
.......
He's an AMERICAN MALE.
AMERICAN MALE.
AMERICAN MALE.
DemonKingMMA LOL
chet michael wow, what intelligence you have
Thumbnail looks like RVD with a Buff Bagwell hat on.
I miss these guys. A true entertainer.
I saw Bagwell at an independent show in late 2003, and this is a completely different person. Buff never acted like this back then. He really needs to be careful about what his opinions are with things, especially when it comes to race.
grow your facial hair back I barely recognized him
is bagwell still friends with riggs? man riggs' shoot is pure gold.
Damn...sucks to see guys from your youth get old. Reminds you that time takes us all.
Buff Bagwell Is A Super Talent!
Buff thinks so highly of himself. According to Buff he should've been champ his entire career.
“You can’t name a great black wrestler?!” Ron Simmons, The Godfather, Rocky Johnson, Stevie Ray, Booker T. Need I go on?!
Buff was done dirty because he had so much charisma and didn't even have to work he was an iconic mascot for nwo. And what if vince was like ... "Only one sexy boy"
GREAT BUFF BAGWELL 2016 SHOOT INTERVIEW PREVIEW !!!
Buff Bagwell should have been a world champion he had a lot more Charisma than a lot of wrestlers
I thought O'Haire was the next Vader, Giant, Goldberg type guy.
+Roguemember Couldn't cut a promo in the ring though.
Steve Shroom
Neither could Goldberg. O'Haire did well with his Devil Advocate gimmick in WWE 2003.
+Roguemember That gimmick kicked ass.
Me too. I've always said he's the most underrated and misused wrestler I've ever seen. He had everything.
Buff Bagwell - the George Michael of wrestling
Buff Bagwell brought a lot of charisma when he was with Scott Steiner he was a showstopper girls gift to women like he says he's buff and he's a stuff. May the Lord bless you and your family may you prosper anything you do.
50 years old and he's still holding on to his gimmick.
Who? Undertaker?
+SETstudio9000 no Taker is still working his gimmick, he's not playing dress up and talking about shit that happened 15 years ago. He's wearing that hat for one reason, and that's bc he knows no one would know who the fxck he is if he weren't wearing it.
He's 46, not 50. He was born in 1970.
+SETStudio9000 Difference is, Undertaker gets paid $450,000 a year to play his gimmick, while Buff Bagwell gives interviews on RUclips wearing a stupid hat from 1998.
FireProMMA you know wrestling still exists outside of wwe and tna right.....
buff is the man !!! he was given a shitty push in wwe . Buff had star potential . They dropped the ball by not using him right.
I once mentioned Buff Bagwell to Shane Hurricane Helms (without knowing they fought) .....good thing it was an online chat.
7:15 *FINALLY ANSWERING THE BIG QUESTIONS!!!*
wow...if you're going to the shitter to pound beers at work...u got no one to be mad at but yourself...lmao
I really have to say that I feel truly bad for a lot of these old wrestlers. I know I shouldn't because there are so many people more deserving of sympathy but I just can't help it. Bagwell has great personality great sense of humor and when he wants to be very funny. Just don't get him mad
what's up ? with 60s wallpaper and couch??
i cant find the round table video hes talking about anywhere. Anyone else have luck?
Had a chance to meet buff and he is a very nice guy. We talked for a bit and I must say he is a cool dude
the wrestling world didn't miss a beat without this bum.
Buff looks pretty weird without his goatee.
***** meh
+Richard Kuklinski I thought you past away? Huge fan of your work Mr. Kuklinski ... wish James Gandolfini played you in the movie
***** yes James was full of life and I dont condone all of Richards actions but he was too may they rest in peace
I wonder if we'll ever see Buff in the WWE Hall of Fame
negative lol
Well if Godfather and Hillbilly Jin can get in, why the hell not?
i just watched what hes talking about it was on legends of wrestling heatseekers
I wish I could get the entire shoot not just clips.
One question I'd like to ask Markus is has he's still got his golden joystick he won on the uk TVs show games master in 1994
Is it just me, or does Bagwell sound a lot like Bobby Hill from "King of the Hill?"
Any guesses as to who was drinking the beer in the toilet? I think it's either Big Show or Bradshaw.
I have watched the Jim Ross comments on the round table, he does seem awfully smug and so eager to burry bagwell, about his mother calling in. I thought it smelled like bullshit when I first saw it. In sick for him that's utterly ridiculous...
Love this guy! 👍😀
did his body shrink? or just his head grew?
He mentioned Augusta, GA?? Why? That's my city! 😲
"Do you really think I had my mother call the WWE and tell them to take me out of Augusta?"
"I didn't watch it because my dad told me not to"
makes sense...
The classic "everyone was doing it" defense. LMAO.
he is another jabroni like ultimate war and huk hogan
+IRON SHEIK What are your thoughts on Larry Zybysko ??
dero1975 fack the larry zybysko next time i see him i will fack his aas make him humble
Thanks, Koz !
dero1975 sorry bubba i didnt mean to say fack you but i changed it to fack his ass
God blesh yoo , bobbah.. Sheikybaby is the TRUE champ win !!!
Bagwell and Scott Steiner were hilarious together.
Hello from Video World.
My mom likes Buff Bagwell, alot.
...He's talking about other people who didn't have "star power", yet all of the people he named had way more talent than Buff ever had. At least his dad was looking out for him and telling him not to watch bad things that grown-ups say about him.
the way this video is edited, it makes no sense. it sounds like scatterbrained rambling.
ROFL, has it been edited? Or is it just Bagwell.
@@SMC01ful It's a Preview ... That's Often How They're Edited
where's the " stuff"? AND THE BUFFET???
clearly pain killers have marcus licked here in this interview. some things never change.
Buff was always my fav wrestler when i actually watched wrestling in the 90s... out of all the big names in the nWo he was my fav.. i agree it seems he was treated pretty bad. This shit looks epic !
I thought mark jindrak had star power
Did and made a nice career for himself in Mexico
+Iki Cash WWE too since they decided to team him with Angle, but he seriously lacked charisma. But he was an amazing athlete for sure. Still is.
+Jonathan Turbide
he has charisma right now in mexico. hes a huge star. you know u r a star when ur given telenovela roles thats like headlining movies in hollywood. theres a guy who deserves to come back to WWE.
+Iki Cash He's in CMLL in Mexico right now and made a good career for himself since moving to Mexico. You can actually watch CMLL here on RUclips Mondays and Tuesday. Broadcast live.
+Iki Cash He had potential, but it just never came together.
He's got two hats, the short one is for interviews and the tall one is for being a cheerleader for Scott Steiner
witch shane is he taling about ?
Shane helms i think
+kenterminatedbygoogle I like JR too, but JR was an ass in his own way at times, burying Bagwell, and Bart Gunn for beating his boy Dr. Death, etc.
Jaret Wood
Did Ross bury Bart Gunn???? If he did, how????
But yeah, Ross is our Gordon Solie. However, I heard he is bitter when he doesn't get his own way.

Jaret Wood
Alright so how did Ross bury Bart Gunn????
Did he talk trash about him in his podcast or shoot interview?
+kenterminatedbygoogle brought in Butterbean to knock him out in 3 seconds. that was good bye credibility
Why would you turn your back on a man that you just slapped?
One question: Why would JR lie about Buff? Or, why would Buff lie about JR?
Dude spent the most of his wrestling prime where exactly? He wasnt in WWE dont remember him in TNA what happened to him? He was still young when WWE released him.
bring BAGWELL TO ROYAL RUMBLE 2017 PLS
Buff BagWell Ruled thought he was great wrestler.
If he wants to talks about taking a bus to Nutley, New Jersey I will start rolling
Good ol' Georgia boy.
The most amazing part to me is that he still had a good physique being whacked out on drugs and drinking a case of beer every day.
hey buff slash called he said the hat thing is over
that hat is so old its about to come back in style again
Mr. Buff Bagwell Reminds Me Of Mr. Brutus Beefcake!!! - M2.H.B. 2016!
He a grown ass man still wearing that hat
William Phelps it's wrestling dude. how many wrestlers at any age wear weird stuff for their gimmicks?
The Legendary 2nd fiddle
buff is the stuff
TNA should work with him as long as they don't have to pay him so much that it takes from advertising
this video is a lot funnier if you imagine the reflected lights in his glasses as a pair of crazy googly eyes.
yeah lmao!
"he rips my a$$.....my dad told me not to watch it"....ive seen the video, he did not rip bagwell. He was honest but it was not in a malicious way.
why even bring it up if he himself has yet to see it
Buff still has the stuff! Drugs are bad.
what fucked him in WWE was his attitude with guys like Bradshaw,Ron Simmons and Bob Holly those guys didn't do main events at the time but they were highly respected backstage.
I thought he was plowing lonely spinsters for cash now?
How the fuck do you do 40 somas and a case of beers a day and still workout enough to maintain a physique like he had? I know he was on gear but still...
I never bought the Buff Bagwell gimmick. They tried several with him.
Buff who???
I always liked Buff. Cos he had The Stuff :)
+JJW001 And, apparently...the girls just can't get enough.
Boo this last update.
Poor BUFF .....Judy's more over then you ever were bahahaaaa!!
I always thought he was a tool, and he is. BUT, he is a straight shooter just telling it like it is. I'm not marking out to him or anything but any man should respect his honesty and straightforwardness. "I didn't fuck that girl".
Does Judy Bagwell know you talk like this?
Jesus Effing Christ... How can someone _not like_ Jim Ross?!?!
I like Buff, but damn... That's crazy.
What happened was, Baggwells wife told Scorpio "Fuck you" and Scorpio tapped his finger on her forehead and told her "I'm a fuck you."
