- This is a piano version I did for Epica's "The Quantum Enigma - Kingdom Of Heaven Part II" song. I learnt it all by ear. I really hope you enjoy it :)
My camera isn't very good, that's why it may look a bit low-definition; however, the audio was recorded and edited with a Midi-USB interface, so it should sound ok.

I am serious. This song has made me think about all I am, all I we are, all this is, was, will be and will not be. This song has a place in both my mind and heart; I am certain I believe that it is in this song where the Epica's peak of soul and heart is. That part before, during and after the "each new discovery that we acclaim..." has a deep meaning yet it's a very simple segment of the lyric. But I am serious, the way you played it made me cry, I don't know why, maybe just because of its "epicness". Thank you for such an amazing journey into my mind again and thanks to Epica for letting us feel this.

Muchísimas gracias, de verdad :D claro que tengo que tengo planeado hacer más covers the canciones de Epica; el problema es encontrar un buen tiempo para sacarlas, practicar, grabar, grabar otra vez porque me equivoqué, y otra vez, y luego editar y así xD pero espero pronto poder volver a hacer uno :) checate también mi Soundcloud por si lo subo ahí y no aquí (por si sólo grabo el audio)

If i can make an advice though, try not to crush your fingers, you'll be more regular ! ;)
ddpierreverte I really appreciate your advice, thank you so much :) I've always had difficulties playing with my hands and fingers on the right position, and unfortunately I feel like my techinque has decreased a lot in the last few years. I just googled what you said about not crushing one's fingers and I didn't find anything useful :( So I'd be really grateful if you could give me any trick or something in order to improve. Thank you in advance :)

Well, i'll try to explain that in english... (i'm french). You can exercise to press each of your fingers on your thumb of the same hand, while they are well-rounded (not crushed). This is an exercise you can do without a piano, to muscle your fingers. Otherwise make ranges slowly with fingers accents. Stop as soon as you crush your fingers and start again. ^^'
